June
I was still at my house getting ready to go meet up with the rest of them.

I went downstairs heading towards the door, but Ernest stopped me.

"Where are you going?" Ernest asked me.

"Outside." I responded. "Why?"

"No reason. Just asking."

"Okay..." I slowly went out the house and rode my bike to the quarry. Luckily, I knew where it was and it took me about ten minutes to get there.

When I arrived, the boys were already there. I was confused because all them had on nothing except their underwear.

"Hey!" I called out. They turned around.

"Oh!" Stan jumped. "Hey, June."

"Hi. I have a question."

"Y-Yes?" Bill asked.

"Where's Beverly?"

"She didn't come yet." Eddie replied.

"Now that that's answered." Richie said. He started building up phlegm and spit it in the water.

Stan went after him, then Bill, Ben, and lastly Eddie.

Richie and Eddie argued about who's went the furthest. "Stop the argument. You guys act like this is a big deal when it's not. It's disgusting." I reasoned.

"Since you wanna reason with us, your turn." Richie told me.

"No." I said.

"Alright. Who goes first?" Bill asked.

"Go first in what?" I was confused.

"Oh, we forgot to tell you!" Eddie exclaimed. "We're jumping into that water down there."

I saw how far we're jumping. "Cool."

"D-D-Do you wanna go first?" Bill offered.

"No, I will." Somebody said from behind us. We turned around and saw that it was Beverly. She smiled and stripped down to her bra and underwear.

"Sissies." She said before she confidently jumped in the water.

"What the fuck!?" Richie yelled.

"Ahh, shit. We just got shown off by a girl." He told the boys.

"No offense, June." Eddie said.

"None taken." I replied.

"Do we have to do it now?" Stan worriedly asked. He was shaking.

"Yes." Richie replied.

"Come on!" Beverly called out from the water.

"Stan, you don't have to if you don't want to." I assured him.

"No, it's fine."

It wasn't long until everyone else jumped and I was the only one left up there.

"June, you scared or what?" Richie teased.

"I'll only do it so you can shut the fuck up, Rich." I said. "Let me get out of these clothes."

I went somewhere where they couldn't see me take off my clothes then dived into the water.

I put my head up from the water and shook some of it off my hair.

"Chicken fight!" Richie yelled. "June, you get on my neck. Beverly, you get on whoever's neck."

"Nah, I'm good."

"Um.. alright."

Stan, Eddie, and I watched as Richie and Ben went against Beverly and Bill.

After that, we swam and saw a turtle. Five minutes later, we're out of the water and back to where we were in the first place.

The boom box blasted 'Bust A Move' by Young MC. I was jamming to the music and reciting the lyrics while the boys were busy staring at Beverly laying down and enjoying the sun. She had sunglasses on.

While they were staring, Beverly turned her head and saw the boys stare at her. They all cleared their throats and act like nothing happened.

I laughed a little and continued dancing.

"If you want it, you got it." I sang. "If you want it, baby you got it."

"Hold up." I thought. "Is Stan staring at me or something else?"

I turned around and there was nothing there. Must mean he was staring at me. I walked up to him and asked, "You like what you see?"

"I-I wasn't staring at you." He stuttered.

"What else can be over there besides the trees?" I sat next to him and he straightened himself.

"Trees are interesting, ya know." He didn't make eye contact with me.

"Pssh, stop lying." Richie said. "You didn't even look at her when you said that."

Stan turned his head and looked me in my eyes.

"That wasn't so hard to do, was it?" I joked.

"Your eyes... are really beautiful." He complimented.

"Woah, woah. Does Stan already have a crush?" Richie teased.

"Either he does or doesn't, leave him alone." Eddie told him.

As the minutes went by, we left and I found out a few things about them by looking at them or they said it themselves.

Turns out: (1) Bill and Ben might like Beverly, but she's more focused on Bill , (2) Ben didn't have anyone to hang with and spent most of his time at the library. That's pretty sad. (3) Richie is regularly a dick. (4) Ben might have a little secret admirer from the letter we saw. I can tell by the way he snatched it from Richie's hand once he found it. (5) He also knows hella history about Derry. This town is super strange and to think, I lived here all my life.
