Chapter 1: Back to the Sea

Bella's pov:

Its been great living in the human world. I have learned so many things and I can't fathom how grateful I am of my father to give me these legs now three years ago.

My husband.

Nothing can explain the joy he brings me. He has given me the best experiences of a lifetime, the greatest in-laws, is what the humans call, to me, and the greatest marriage of course. He has taught me how to drive, hot to help him run the kingdom, and my favorite how to love physically.

He has also given me one of the most precious things to me.

A daughter.

We have named her Avalee, meaning song.

She was amazing even for a 8 month old baby. She had the silkiest hair, the clearest tan skin, the biggest brown eyes, and the cutest smile I have ever seen. I have seen babies before when Bruno and I would go out on our strolls...but it's different seeing your own baby. Its more surreal.

We were on a ship today to have Avalee meet the people of Atlantica. It was a special occasion because she was the first child of the land and sea.

I was super excited.

"Babe"

I turn away from the window in our cabin room and turned to see the man I still love in the doorway.

"we are five minutes away", he says

I look down at what I was wearing which was his t-shirt and these pants called sweatpants which I have come accustom to.

"I should change?", I laughed

"unless you want the people of the sea to see their princess in sweats be my guess", He laughs

I laugh and went to my closet that Presley has stocked. After maybe a few moments in looking at every dress in here I settled on a light blue lace dress that stopped just above my knees and beige leather heels.

I leave our cabin and go to Avalee's room. I hear her gurgles meaning she was awake, I walk over to her crib, and looked down at her.

She had hand in her mouth and was smiling up at me. I giggled and picked her up.

"You are my world my darling, What a wonderful world I see", I sing to her and kissed her cheek

I cradle her and make my way to the window while she sucks on my finger.

"You are the song I'm singing, You're my beautiful Avalee", I sing and looked towards the sea

Her door opens and Bruno was at the door and he was smiling.

"love come on we are getting very close", he says

"isn't she beautiful", I say ignoring his remark

He chuckles and I walk towards him. He kisses me and her head and leads me down the steps. The scent of the ocean hits me and it makes me feel right at home.

"Down to the sea we go, Down to a world I know, There's never been, Not ever before, A child born of sea and shore", I sing to her

"you love singing to her don't you?", he ask

"of course. She loves your voice too", I laugh

"but yours more", he states

I giggled. "yep", I say

I finally looked up from the beautiful girl in my arms and notice we were walking towards Presley and Tiara.

"Finally", Tiara laughs

"was she in her room Bruno?", Presley asks

"yes, I found her there", Bruno laughs

I laugh was I gone that long.

"look!", Ella calls

I turn and I see all the merpeople. My sisters and friends were all down there waiting to see my daughter. I smiled and looked at Bruno, who nodded, and I walked towards the woodened rail.

I cradle her so she can see the people in the sea. "This is your world my darling, One world the land and sea, My hope for you for always, Is that your heart will part of me", I sing to her as I press my cheek onto hers

I then see the guard come to the service and that's when I knew my father was here. I turn and motion for Bruno to come over to where I was. He walks over to me and wraps his arm around me.

I see my father rise from the water and gets closer so he can see his granddaughter. He sees her and his eyes just glistened. He touches her cheek and mine before making a rainbow around us like he did on my wedding day.

"Wow, she is beautiful", He says

"I know", I say

"Avalee, as a gift I am giving you this locket, so you can be reminded that you will always belong to the sea", He says

The locket was gold and was shaped as a seashell, with her name on it, he opens it and a bubble floats up and it was Atlantica. I see it was all her aunts swimming around, I looked at her, and she was giggling.

He closes it and as he was handing it to Bruno I feel something slimy on my arm. I look down just as Avalee was taken away.

"AVALEE", I cried

I hear an evil laugh. I looked up and gasped as I see it was Morgana...Ursula's insane sister.
