We all went back to shore. While everyone went back to the palace Bruno, Avalee, and I stayed on the beach to wait for my father with news.
"I am sorry I yelled", Bruno says
"Its okay I also put her in danger", I said
We watched as Avalee was playing in the sand and making herself busy.
After today and knowing that Morgana is after not only my father's triton but has threatened my daughter. I don't even think I can let Avalee into the water...or even me going back into the water.
We had waited and waited for my father to come to us which didn't happen until sunset. He, Sebastian, and flounder floated to us.
"we have looked everywhere, and she vanished", Father explains
"shit", I sighed
"we can look more-"
"Honey, no" I say to Avalee
She was playing in the water but I picked her up.
"We have to keep Avalee away from her", I say
I watched as Avalee was playing with her locket by putting it in her mouth.
"Until Morgana is found Avalee cannot go into the sea"
I take a deep breathe.
"and neither will I", I sighed
"Bur Bella", Flouder gasped
"Love, are you sure you want to do that. Just because a bitch makes a threat doesn't mean you have to give up something that is apart of you", Bruno say
"I just can't risk it...if Morgana is anything like Ursula shes not going to give up", I say with a cracked voice
I take the locket out of Avalee mouths and from around her neck. Which makes her whimpers and squirms for it.
"Avalee can't know anything about merpeople, Atlantica,or even you daddy", I say quietly
I handed him her locket and he takes it.
"Very well Bella. Very well", He says sadly
I sniffed and leaned against Bruno's chest and watched as my father turns and floats away. We turn away and begin to walk up the stairs to the palace.
"are you sure you want to do this?", Bruno asks as he take Avalee out of my hands
"it is the only way to protect her", I say
"are you sure you want to stay away from your father though? I don't want you to do anything that is going to hurt you", he says
"I will do anything to protect our daughter and I can keep in touch with him through skuttle", I say
He sighs.
"whatever makes you happy", he says
"I just don't want her to be in danger like today and this is the only way", I say
I will have my daughter in danger like today ever again.
