The Little Mermaid: The Return to the Sea

Chapter 6: She is gone

The music was playing Bruno and I were sitting on our thrones because it was protocol. We watched as everyone was dancing and mingling around as we hold hands.

"Did you have to where that?", He asks

"What?", I asked

"Almost every man in this room is looking at you", He says

I look around and sure enough every guy was looking in my direction which caused me to blush.

"it wasn't my choice", I promised

"remind me to rip it off you tonight", He says

"why would I let you do that?", I ask

"You wanted another child...so why not?"

I bite my lip just as the music stopped playing, we looked up to Grim, and we stood up.

"and now your royal highness Princess Avalee", Grim announces and Avalee appears at the top of the stairs

She begins to walk down the stairs with a nervous smile on her face. When she gets to the bottom of the stairs a boy that looked her age bowed and held his hand up.

"HI, would you like to dance?", he asks

"No", Bruno mumbles and I nudged him

Avalee looks at us for permission and I nodded.

"Sure, Okay", She says, and he leads her to the dance floor.

Presley walks up to me.

"she looks beautiful", Presley says just as the music begin

"I know", I smiled

Bruno holds his hand out to me.

"Would you like to dance?", He asks

"Such a gentleman", I giggled and took his hand

I take his hand and he leads me to the dance floor and we began to dance next to our daughter.

"You only wanted to dance to watch the poor boy", I whispered

"Is it obvious?", he asks as he spends me out

I twirl back in. "Yes, it is", I say

Then I hear a groan. We look over at Avalee and the boy who was freaking out over something. Then he fell into the table with the drinks and refreshments. I looked up and I see Sebastian falling and into the cake which falls over and splatters everywhere.

"Oh shit", I say

I watch as Avalee walks towards Sebastian and kneels.

"Oh no", She says

"What the heck my suit-", the boy says

"Are you okay Sebastian?", She says

The boys eyes widened. "So, it is true"

Another boy begins to laugh. "She talking to a crab"

Then kids began to laugh and then their parents begin to laugh.

The cook see Sebastian and then charged for him.

"Bruno stop this", I say

"I got it", he says and walks away

I locate Avalee and she begins to cry.

"OH, Avalee", I sigh and begin to walk to her

But before I could get to her she run up the stairs out the room.
