The Little Mermaid: The Return to the Sea

Chapter 10: Trouble

           

Bella's pov:

I was floating behind my father sadly still in shock and, I wanted my daughter back so bad.

"Don't worry Bella we will find her", Flounder says

I looked away and then I noticed something when we got into the throne room.

"daddy, the triton", I gasped and pointed to the empty holder.

"What the hell". He gasped

"That is impossible-", Sebastian says

As Sebastian was ranting I noticed a locket on the floor. I picked it up and saw what it says.

"Avalee", I gasped

"she was here", Daddy says

"How would see have gotten here?", I asked

"Morgana, if she gets her hands on my triton", He says worried

I look up and noticed two familiar sting rays swimming away.

"I know those two" I say

I followed them out the palace along with flounder. We were following them for a while and I soon realized the temperature was dropping but it was bearable because it was still warm enough to swim in. I go up to the surface and watch the sting rays swim into the cave and then go under water. Avalee must be in there.

"Flounder you-"

"Bella what are you doing here", Scuttle says

I smiled. "scuttle can do it actually", I smiled

Flounder shakes his head.

"Scuttle first send someone to my father to come here to this place. Then go to Bruno and tell him to come here and bring some help. Tell them both I found Avalee but she is with Morgana. That is all I ask of you", I say

He nods and flies away.

"Let's go"

We dive under and swim into the cave. As we grew closer and I heard some talking.

"Now hand me my triton", Morgana says

I then see Avalee about to give it away.

"Avalee no", I yelled

"Mom?", She asks

"Don't listen to her she- "

I then noticed she had a fin and her eyes widened as well.

"You're a mermaid?", we both ask

"Bella, darling how wonderful for you to come and you brought flipper with you", she snarls

"the name is flounder", Flounder growls

"Sweetheart hand me my triton now", Morgana says

I see Avalee eyes begin to water.

"All this time you never told me?", she sniffed

I bite my lip feeling guilty. I then see Morgana comforting her and Avalee face turned from sad to angry.

"To think a mother and father would keep something like this from their own daughter?", Morgana begins.

"Dad knows", Avalee ask

"Give me the triton Avalee", I say and held my hand out

"No, hand it to me it is for your own good", Morgana says into her ear
