I woke up feeling the best I've felt in a long time.
I stretched, took my shower, and went downstairs for breakfast/lunch

My mom left a note saying she had to run to work  but there was pancakes in the microwave so I ate to my hearts content

As I ate I looked at my phone and missed a few texts. Josh was reminding me of S-Rank rehearsal coming soon, Tati says there's an eventual Sally Miller event, and Char was asking me about if I needed help getting ready for my date

Date?

"Oh shit I have a date!"

I honestly don't know why I was acting like that yesterday. Maybe I was just energized by seeing all my friends again. Maybe a part of me was waiting for the moment that Kenneth would ask me out. Maybe I'm just desperate since I never had a boyfriend and I'm 16 years old...

to help you get ready for your date?

Yes please come over
I don't know what to do!! 😩

Alright make sure you know what kind of clothes you should wear
I'll be over in 3 hours

I texted Kenneth real quick and he said I could just wear jeans, he said we were just doing dinner and a movie the typical date

It was exactly 3 hours like Charlize said and she came over to help me get ready for this date

The date was now only 2 hours from now

"Alright hair and makeup done, outfit is ready now one last thing to get ready" Charlize said

"What's that?" I ask curious what she's talking about

"You!" Charlize said

"Me?!"

"Well obviously my usual advice would be to be yourself and do only what you feel comfortable with but in this case..."Charlize said

"It's with Kenneth"

"Yeah so since you two already know each other so well this date will probably feel more like a third or fourth date" Charlize said

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"

"Depends do you already have feelings for Ken because that's what the first and second dates are for usually to see if you like them" She said

"I think so I mean he's handsome, funny, a good dancer, really sweet, loves hanging out with his friends,  has a nice smile..."

"Okay! okay! I get it! I get it!" Charlize teases me "Just don't be afraid too answer or ask anything that might have been too personal before this"

The doorbell rings and any nervousness that was avoiding me just attacked me full force

"How was that 2 hours?!" I said as Charlize just giggled at me "I mean it felt like 5 minutes!"
