You're probablye getting a bit annoyed, but hey, that's what I do! anywayzzzzz. Sasha is down below in the Multimedia section...
When they woke up, the girls were in a small room with only two beds. What happened? thought the girl. They remembered going ot the party. And then, her. The girl they still had nightmares about.
A woman with short, braided hair strode in, wearing a lab coat and carrying a clip board.
"How do you feel girls?" Dr Harvey asked. The girls looked at each other knowing that if they told the nurse and Dr Harvey why they both collapsed then they would want full explanations from both of them and that would cause them to drag the authorities and police into it and they were quite happy as it was without everybody invading their space and home.
Plus their mother would have almost undoubtedly been informed about them collapsing, but to be honest it wasn’t really that unusual they had collapsed a few times since the beginning of term and now the hospital had a special room for them when it happened. The room was cold but inviting and in a way comforting that they knew that they were safe, well here at least even if they weren’t back at the university.
"We’re feeling a lot better now, thanks" they replied in unison.
Then, after a few minutes of interrogation the nurse said that they were free to leave, but at the first sign of dizziness were to return. On the way back to Coltridge they mind linked each other and started to remember tiny bits of the night before but nothing major.
As soon as Dee and Ash got back they were bombarded with questions. Mainly from Chase and Quinn but a few from people like Dustin-a boy in a lot of the girl’s classes-and Sasha. This continued until they said that they just needed to sleep because they were still recovering from their accident.
Friday 8pm
"AHHHHH" Ash woke up to the sound of her sister crying in a corner of the room with a huge gash on the side of her face. The gash looked familiar. She touched her face. There was a faint line, where she had cut her. Only, Dee's cut was bleeding. It was fresh.
Ash rang the ambulance and tried to stop the bleeding.
But, when she had first been given the cut, three years ago, she had discovered that this cut would reopen constantly for the rest of her life. Once, she had been walking down the street, and it had opened. It opened randomly. The nurse had described the scar as curious; no one had ever seen a scar like it. Considering that it was almost 3 years old and just looked like a scratch on her face they couldn’t work out how it kept opening up and bleeding to the point that everything was blurry and she passed out.
10 minutes later, the ambulance came.
We do go there rather a lot. Ash thought. Why couldn't she have just left us alone? Why's she here?
"OK which one of you is going to tell me how, when Dee's face heals you will have identical scars?"
"Well" Ash began, "when I was younger I had a..." she couldn’t think of the right word for what had actually happened, "a... dispute with another, with someone else who was about 3 years older than us. We got in an incredibly big fight, both of us came out scarred. Mine were visible, but dee's were all over her back. We couldn't stop the other kid. Whereas the other's scars were mainly on their shoulders so not visible to most people." she added with a sigh, "I don’t know about Dee as I woke when she screamed but it was only us there."
"It was the same person, she may be older now but she were wearing a tank top so I could see the scars on their shoulders" Dee said in a quiet voice barely loud enough to hear, "They used some special knife like the one that gave you that" she added, by this time the nurse looked slightly confused about all the action that had happened.
"So, you're saying someone's targeting you? Do you know their name?"
The twins exchanged looks. They were going to have to tell her the whole truth.
"Haeper, Haeper Grinfeild, it was her, it was always her" Dee said quietly, then added "but that’s all we will tell you. The rest you find out for yourself." The nurse looked at them suspiciously and left but Ash and Dee knew she was going to find out more.
