Ash's POV

"She's going to find out Dee, you know that. We can't just go and delete all the records. We can't ignore it."

“Ash, there’s nothing we can do but sit tight and wait till they find out. Like you said, we can’t destroy the records so we just have to wait and hope that she can’t get access to them”

Monday 7am

I go off the sofa. I needed to wake Dee up.

"Dee, time to get u-" I trailed off as I opened her door, "OMIGOD. What happened?"

Dee was sprawled across her bed, only just waking up. The room was trashed. She was floating in a sea of mess. She's usually really tidy. All her books were ripped up, her laptop smashed over her chair, which was now in matchsticks.

“What the in the world of Greek mythology happened in here?” she said. I stared at her

"How could you sleep throught all this? This is ridiculous!" I replied. I don't like shouting, but I was upset and I wanted her to know it.

“OK, OK, look, I’m sorry. I can’t help it. I’m just a deep sleeper.” She said, her eyes filling with tears, picking up her old copy of Harry Potter, “We need to tell the office about this. We need to move rooms.”

I hugged her. And then we went down to the office.

     Soon, we were there.

“I’m never telling anyone where my room is again.”

“Hello girls what can we do for you today?” asked Mrs Kendrew when she saw us. I looked at Dee and started telling her what had happened to our room. By the time I had finished half the office was staring at us like we were purple.

“Well girls I think we need to sort you out a new room with high security, don’t want this happening again now do we?” said Mr Harve,y “but is there something you should tell us? Like why this happened perhaps.”

"We don't know who did it sir." We both knew exactly who'd done it, but we couldn't tell.

“Very well then. I shall be back in a minute I had better call the police to get this sorted out. And girls I think you should take the day off, the police might want to talk to you” he said as he left the room.

 10 am

“Thank you for your time girls. I can assure you we will do as much as we can to catch whoever did this. But your nurse mentioned something a girl called Haeper Grinfeild. Do you know her?” officer Jacobs said

"We were neighbours when we younger, but we never got on. we haven't seen her for years sir" Dee said.

He looked suspicious, but left us to salvage some of Dee's stuff. She cried when she saw her books all ripped up. Even her clothes were slashed. We managed to salvage a copy of Black Beauty from under the bed and a cardigan, but that was all.
