Into the Void We Go

You stared up at the giant void in awe. It was treating the area like a huge vacuum. It started off strong and started quickly losing strength.

Lusamine: "Come now, my darlings." She motioned at everyone to follow her. She jumped up into the void and was gone in a second.

'This bitch is out of her mind if she thinks I'm going in there.'

Nigel immediately went in after Lusamine, but he gave you a cringy wink before doing so. He's the worst really.

You started to take off in the opposite direction before you ran into Guzma's solid chest. He looked down at you with an evil grin and grabbed your shoulders to turn you around. He then pushed you with one arm towards the void and grabbed Lillie's arm with the other. She was still distraught from seeing Nebby suffer. Before being pushed completely into the void, you grabbed Lillie in a tight hug to make sure you didn't lose the poor child.

You and Lillie flew into the ground of a new area. You both sat on the rough iridescent ground.

"Wow. Just wow," You said as you rubbed your pained bottom.

Lillie patted her scuffed up knees and went to help you up.

Lil: "I'm sorry you had to get involved in all of this. I️ should've warned everyone about my mother's obsession."
"It's alright...I️ guess? But why didn't you tell anyone?"
"I️ just...I️ didn't want to lose her like I️ lost Dad. I️ thought I️ could help her, but I️ became afraid of her. I️ took Nebby away, thinking she would just let the ultra space thing go..."
"Is...is that where we are right now? ULTRA SPACE?!" You panicked and looked around. Surely this was not a safe place to be.

It was at this time that you noticed the others were nowhere to be seen.

"Hey Lillie, would you happen to know where the dumbasses themselves are right now? No offense to your crazy mother."
Lil: "it's ok...and I️ have no idea. I've only seen sketches of ultra space. I️ know nothing of it really. I️ thought it was all crazy talk from mom and dad."
"Perfect...well, I'm assuming this would be the time the two lost characters start looking for a way back home right?"
???: "wrong."

You and Lillie jumped at the sudden reply. It was an unfamiliar voice. You turned around to see a floating...jellyfish? It was larger than you, but not by much.

"Did...did that thing just talk?"
???: "Rude."
"Uh...what are you?"
???: "you."
"What?"
???: "you."

You looked to Lillie for some sort of answer. She seemed just as confused. Suddenly Guzma came running from the darkness.

G: "Get away from that thing! Come on!" He grabbed your arm and you grabbed Lillie's hand. The three of you started running off into the distant ultra space. You could hear the shrill scream of the irritated jellyfish thing.

Once Guzma thought y'all were a safe distance away, he dropped your arm and began panting. You and Lillie did the same. You hunched over with your hands on your knees. You didn't get a whole lot of exercise staying in the mansion all day and night, so you were not in a well enough shape to be running for your life.

"I️ might puke."
G: "ew. Don't."

You gave him a sharp glare and replied, "so is this the possessed Guzma or just regular dumb Guzma?"
G: "Ouch, is that the attitude I️ get for saving your asses?"
"Just answer the question."
G: "It's me, ya boy Guzma. I ain't possessed right now. I️ ran away from that demon when we first got here. Turns out, they just need our bodies to travel safely to our world or some shit. I️ dunno."
"Ah. So like, what was that thing exactly that we were just running from? It said that it was me..."
G: "That's your demon. They all start out lookin like cute little jellyfish and they tell you everything you wanna hear. Then when they possess you, you're left feeling terrified and stuck in a never ending nightmare." Tears started to form in Guzma's eyes. He quickly shook his head to prevent such an emotion.

G: "Anyways, we need to get the hell out of here before all of our demons find us again."
"Well how are we supposed to do that, genius?" You crossed your arms. Lillie spoke up.

Lil: "We need to find my mother. The non-possessed version of her that is. She'll know what to do. Her and dad have studied this place their whole life and-"
G: "Psh. Good luck. That bitch is possessed whether that demon is in her mind or not. I'm not going back up to her. All the beasts love her. Wouldn't be surprised if all of ours were huddled up with her just waiting for us to take that bait. Nuhhuh. I️ ain't going." He turned away and crossed his arms.
"We have to. Lusamine is our best shot. No one else knows where we are or how to even get to us. We can't wait around for someone to save us."
G: "y'all are stupid."
"Whatever, come on Lillie. We don't need Mr. big and bad to come with us."
G: "uh..actually y'all might need me to uh...save your asses or something. I should go with y'all."
"Mhm right...well let's go then."
