Hey guys! I'm back with a new chappy for y'all! I'm sorry for the late update. It's just that things have been pretty intense lately. LOL Anyway, enjoy this new chapter!

-Lorraine's POV

My body hurts.

It freakin' hurts! Damn it!

Thanks to that stupid guy who hit me earlier. He's so lucky I didn't have time to deal with him earlier. Otherwise, I would go to the police station and sue him and demand money from him... or maybe not.

I still have a lot of things I need to take care of. And besides, I can't afford to give away my identity to anybody and I can't trust anyone in this town except for 'him'.

I have been driving for almost twenty minutes now.

I look at my wristwatch. It's already quarter to four.

Good.

I am just in time for our appointment.

I pull up at an old diner beside the road in the outskirts of town.

I enter the place and as I expected, there's not many people inside--- just a few locals, an old lady at the counter, and a young man in his twenties serving food for the customers.

I scan the place.

He's not yet here.

I get my phone from my pocket and check if there are any messages or calls from him.

But there isn't any.

I go to a vacant table near the counter and sit on the empty chair. As I am doing so, I notice that all eyes are on me. This made me very uncomfortable.

'Why the hell are they staring at me?!' I mumble a little irritated.

I return their stares with a cold glare hoping for them to stop and mind their own business.

And it was effective: they did stop looking.

The place is suddenly filled with tension.

Did I overdo it? Maybe they were just looking at me because they haven't seen me around here before.

Suddenly, I feel sorry for glaring at them.

After a very uncomfortable moments of silence, the waiter guy finally approaches me.

"May I take your order, Miss?" he says smiling whilst taking out a small notepad and a pen.

I stare at him. I think this makes him a little self-conscious and embarrassed 'coz I notice a small blush form on his cheeks.

"I'm not really here to eat." I said straightforwardly "...I have an appointment with somebody but he hasn't arrived yet."

"I see... umm.. would you like a cup of coffee while you wait then?" he kindly offers.

"Okay, coffee is fine." I say.

He scribbles on his note and tells me that he'll be back with my coffee after a few minutes and walks away.

I look at my phone and check again if there's any messages.

None.

Okay, Lorraine. Just stay patient. He'll arrive sooner or later. With the goods, I hope.

After a couple of minutes, the waiter comes back with my coffee. I smile and thank him which makes him a little surprised. Well, considering how I acted earlier... how 'snobbish' I was... who wouldn't be surprised?
