I woke up to the sound of chirping birds. Only, they weren't real birds. It was my iPhone alarm. *yawn* Why do weekends get over so quickly, right? I snooze the alarm and go back to my sleeping position. *ah* It feels so good when you're sleeping. Suddenly, my phone rings. I regret setting the ringing volume so high. Holy shit! It's Dad !
"Dad", I manage to squeak. I always squeak when I am nervous.
"I knew you would be still sleeping" he sighs. It's easy to detect whether I was sleeping or not, my hoarse voice says it all.
"Uh...well, I woke up now! Good Morning!" I grin. Stop grinning idiot, he can't see your face, I tell myself.
"Good. Now, off you go! It's your first day at school. Enjoy" And then he keeps the phone down.
I release a sigh of relief. *phew*
I think of what happened yesterday as I'm in my shower. Dylan finally kissed me! The cutest and hottest guy of the school kissed me! Okay, okay, I know I'm repeating but can't help! I'm on cloud nine! Maybe we can marry one day and kids after all. If only the slut Lindsey gets out of the way. * sigh* Life is just too complicated.
Oh! I don't want to be late. I quickly throw on a Starbucks T-shirt and a pair of my favorite faded denims. Plus, my cute azure cardigan and my neon converse, and I'm good to go. Just a fishtail braid and some mascara and gloss. Today, I look my usual self. Effortlessly chic and casual.
*the doorbell rings*
"Isaac!" I rush to the door, and greet him with a warm hug.
"Whoa! Someone's in a chirpy good mood today!" He comments but still hugs me back. "Well, good to see you back in your usual clothes"
I nod.
And I kinda agree with Zoe, Isaac does look hot now, with his chocolate brown hair, hazel eyes, and those cute dimples. What am I saying? Isaac is my buddy. *phew* Zoe is a bad company.
"Remember what we have to do tomorrow?" He asks as we sit in the car.
"Of course I do. How can I forget?" I reply.
Isaac and I follow a tradition of visiting the amusement park every month. It might sound boring but we've been doing it since years now. And each time, it just keeps getting better and better.
I pull up as we reach school. I spot Zoe.
"Zoe!" For a change I go and hug her. I actually don't like doing it evertime, and I'm not much of a touchy person, but remember what happened yesterday , right? I'm in a good mood, remember?
"Whoa! Someone's in a chirpy good mood today!" She comments.
"I told her the same thing!" Says Isaac.
"Guys, I'm not that bad!" I say, defending myself.
"Oh, please, you're like the queen of grouch" declares Zoe.
"Couldn't agree more" agrees Isaac.
Sometimes, I wonder if they're really my friends.

*the lunch bell rings*
I stuff the books in my locker and make my way into the cafeteria, when I suddenly see Mr. Popular Bad Boy. My Dylan. Okay, he's not mine....err....not yet.
*mental note* I've to be angry. He didn't help yesterday in the project.
*deep breath* I walk fast, stamping my feet, and reach where he's standing near his locker.
