(Hiatus) Where is my freak? [ L X Reader ]

Chapter 14

He...he what?

Marry?

L?

Tearing up, one word erupted from my quivering lips,

"Yes!"

Tackling him to the ground, gripping his blushing cheeks, kissing his lips passionately.

We soon ran out of breath, and released each other from our tight grip. Breathing heavily, almost heaving, L lent over to grab the box, which fell on the floor -oops- and placed the glimmering ring around my ring finger. Pulling from his back pocket of those usual blue jeans he wears, revealing a singular bare silver ring which shone like the moon in a starless sky. Handing it to me, in the center of my palm, so i held his hand placing it on his ring finger. After the ring was placed on his finger i squeezed his sweating hands. 

Once both engagement rings were on our fingers, we headed back through the wild woods, winding round and round through the trees as we went, not caring where we went, where we ended up only that we were together. Smiling like a mad man, i released myself from his grip, went behind his back, leaning up to his ear and whispering,

"If you want to marry me,

catch me!"

and i sprinted off into the hallowing woods.

Running and running with L trailing after me, chasing after me like predator pouncing after his prey.

~But the difference between us and wild predators and preys is he's already mine~

Soon i took a fateful turn -damn that turn- i snuck around an oak tree with ivy clambering around the bark up the one side.  I took one step back, seeing L in the far distance now walking and smiling at my figure.

But everything changed in a split second, soon L got smaller, and his eyes widened like he saw a ghost, but no. . .he didn't.

Tumbling. Tumbling.

down.

Down.

DOWN!

As i was nearing the end of the steep fall, a pile of tough rocks was in my near future. 

-Down-further-turning-tossing-side to side-left to right-up and down-

Falling soon came to a sudden stop as my temples jolted against a hard crumbling surface.

I felt. . .numb.

No pain. No nothing. 

Bringing my hand to my head, a blood stained hand was brought right back into my fading vision, with a curtain of darkness soon taking over.

Blank.
