Yuuri POV
It was a normal anniversary for me and Viktor. We had been going out for 2 years and we had a date planned, like we did for our 6 months. He planned us a really nice day out and dinner in a beautiful private garden on one of his family's estates. I was astonished at how beautiful it was. We were in a maze filled with beautiful scenery accompanied by the clear night's sky. The table was set with a white table cloth, red napkins, roses and a couple of candles. The cutlery had been set out with plates beside them and there red wine already in glasses.
"V-Viktor.... This is beautiful...." I said, sitting down.
"Isn't it?" He smiled his beautiful smile and I couldn't help but copy his actions.
We had a lovely meal while watching some fireworks go off, which was completely by coincidence. Or at least that's what he told me. They were amazing and looked really professional. We walked around the gardens and came to the middle of the maze. There was a white bridge over a small lake and me and Viktor walked onto it. The ripples caused by the falling petals from the flower trees around. You could see the reflection of the moon in the water and the gentle breeze slowly moved it around.
"I can't believe a place could be this beautiful..." I said with a smile, leaning on the edge of the bridge.
"Not could, can." Viktor said, copying my actions. I blushed lightly as his hand brushed against mine, and he chuckled. He took mine in his and I leaned my head on his shoulder, still looking out at the gorgeous scenery.
"Yuuri, I have something I want to ask you."
"Sure, what is it Viktor?" I looked at his face and I could see the pure nervousness. I responded with a look of confusion. A small smile made it's way onto his face and he took a step back. He took to the floor with one knee and I knew exactly what he was going to ask me. I tried to hide my excitement.
"Yuuri, I love you more than anything in the world, words cannot express my love for you. You are beautiful in every way, no matter what anyone says. So, will you do me the honer of being my husband?" I gasped and put my hands over my mouth.
"Yes, Viktor, of course!" I said, tackling him to the floor. He laughed and hugged me tightly.
"Good, I'm so glad! You don't know how many times I rehearsed for today! I was so scared!" I heard snaps and lights flashed. There were photographers taking photos of us. I smiled.
"You hired photographers as well?" I said, stroking the hair out off his beautiful face.
"How else am I gonna be able to look at your amazing reaction for the rest of my life?" He said and kissed my forehead.
"That is so much like you, Vitya." I say, kissing him gently. (I can't be bothered to write out the kiss, so you can make it however you want.)
So this is for all of you that were questioning why they were only boyfriends in book one. ^w^
The next chapter may be in Yurio POV, but I'm not sure yet. Don't kill me, I haven't started writing it yet XD
