I glared at Charity "No Charity! For the last time, I wont!" I swipe away the bottle of beer she has been forcing me to drink. Charity isn't even a little bit tipsy but she has been drinking half of the bottle "Awwe the little baby girl doesn't want to disobey her Mommy" she said as if I was a baby.
"Okay that's it" I tried to get the bottle from her hands but she stopped me and pointed to the other bottle. She took a swig and said "This baby's mine, you two share because you two are rookies in drinking".
I grabbed the bottle from Eli’s hands and hesitantly took a swig. I felt the bitter taste run down my throat. Unlike Charity, we aren't much of a drinker. She sure had guts to steal these bottles from a drunk man.
30 minutes earlier
"I either think that man from a far across the street is drunk or the zombie apocalypse has started" I said. I hate drunk people, only god knows what they're able to do. I looked at my sides and noticed that Eli and Charity are gone, so I stopped only to be bump by them because they were hiding from my behind. I scoffed "So much for being the man here Eli"
He coughed and stand back beside me "I wasn't hiding I was just uhh walking behind".
"Yeah right, I think we should cross the road since the man is now on our side" Charity said from behind us. We started to walk slowly, but when we got to the other side the man followed and crossed the road too. We were now crossing the road, back and forth in a zigzag pattern to avoid the man but he ia getting closer and closer.
"Why can't it be a regular man so that we can borrow his phone or something. Drunk. It has to be a drunk man" I whisper-shouted to them. The man just looked at us with his red eyes and vomited in front of us. Luckily Eli brought his hand to push me back and Charity ran away from us.
"What the hell? This man just came near us just to vomit? I was expecting a fist-to-fist fight or an opportunity to pushing him and run" Eli said punching the air for emphasis. I stared at the man who was lying on his own vomit at the side of the road.
"Good thing he has two bottles left" Charity grinned.
End of flashback
We're now walking to the same path of road we've been walking since the afternoon, and we are now drunk.
"Okay lets play 20 random questions . . ." Charity snickered and continued "but we want answer them, so each of us get to ask 20"
"What kind of game is this?" I questioned.
"That's one question for you"
"B-but can't I start over?"
"That's another question, you've got 18 left and you even had a double turn" she made a tsk sound.
"Why is the sky blue?" Eli said.
"What's the color of my underwear.?" Charity asked and Eli blushed.
"Why would you question that?" I glared at her and she just smiled at me.
"Are you jealous?" she said.
"What is something to be jealous of?" Eli asked.
"Who ate my cookie this morning?" I glared at him as I changed the subject.
"Does my dad even know I'm missing?" she stared at the sky. I put my hand on her shoulder to show sympathy.
"Is this game gonna be fun?" he asked.
"Why can't I reach my nose with my tongue?" I tried but still it wont reach.
"How do people squirt milk through their eye?" Charity questioned.
"Why is my name Elliot? It clearly means gay" he questioned.
I scoffed at him "You think I'm happy my name is Jordan? It sounds so manly and people expect me to play basketball"
"Why am I named Charity? It sounds like I am a slut" she slurred.
"Aren't you?" I laughed at her.
"Why can't we have six fingers and toes?" Eli said.
"Why do boys take so long to do their hair?" Charity asked
"Why do girls take so long in general?" Eli asked glaring at us both.
"Why do I like my best friend?" I asked suddenly. I swear to God I didn't mean to say it but it slipped out of my mouth.
"Are we even counting our questions?" Eli said ignoring my previous question, well good thing he didnt hear it.
"What happens if we answer the question?" I asked. It was a silly question considering no one can answer it.
"Am I a bad kisser?" he asked. Charity just grimned as she begins to walk forward to Eli.
"What is wrong with you two?" I made a barrier between them and I was facing him. Good thing it was dark so he can't se me blushing. I expected him to push me away and kiss Charity but he placed his hand on my cheek. He started to lean but we pulled away when Charity shouted.
"Is that the city?" Charity shouted happily. She pulled us in to the nearest shop and it turned out to be a tattoo shop. Being drunk inside a tattoo parlor is probably one of the most regrettable thing to do.
