Chapter 17

Tris POV:

It's been two days since the last killing and no one else has died again. We can't tell if it's because of our security or they just stopped.

No one can go near the woods still until we find exactly who is doing this. I feel so guilty because I know people want to let out their wolves, but they can't, because of me.

"What are you thinking about Angel?" I hear Tobias ask me walking into the kitchen. I look up with the coffee that is in my hands.

How sexy you are!

Shei! Not the time!

What! Look at those muscles!

Shei....

But I do look at his muscles and they are big. I blush just knowing I'm checking him out.

See! I was right.

I hate you.

"Tris?"

"What, yeah, huh?" I say coming out from my embarrassing talk with my wolf. Dang it Shei!

You love me!

Shut up!

"I said what are you thinking about"

"Nothing" I smile while trying my hardest not to blush.

"You know when we mate fully I'll be able to read you mind" he says coming close to me.

My body betrays me revealing the blush that creeps onto my cheeks that I tried so hard to hide.

I hear his beautiful laugh that I have come accustomed to.

"Some times I really wonder what goes on in your pretty little head"

"Rainbows and unicorns" I respond with a smirk. He raises his eyebrows. I just smile and continue sipping my coffee.

"How about you and I go on a date today" he says coming and hugging me. I instantly smile.

"That sound great!"

"Ok" His smile grows.

"Where are we going?" I ask putting my coffee down on the table. 

"I don't know yet but somewhere good" he says.

I smile and go hug him. He wraps his arms around me while putting one hand in my hair.

"I love you" I mumble into his chest. Right when I say that my eyes go wide.

That's when I realize that we've never said "I love you" before. Even when we marked each other we never said it. Here I am just saying I love you when he could not feel the same way. I just blurted it out without even realizing. Your so stupid!

"I- I'm sorry... I didn't mean to just say it like that. You might not even feel the same way. I don't know what came over me. I'm so-" I quickly say before he decides to leave. Instead I get cut off with his lips pressed to mine.

"I love you too Angel" he says looking into my eyes smiling the biggest smile I've ever seen.

"Are you sure your not saying it just because I'm saying it?" I question looking down at my feet. His hands come into view lifting my head up to meet his eyes.

"I am hundred percent sure. I should have said it sooner" he says smiling while leaning back down and kissing me. Fireworks go throughout my body like every other time.

"Now for our date I think I want to take you to one of my favorite restaurants" he says breaking apart from the kiss.

"Is it fancy?" I ask.
