The moment Amy stepped off the plane in France she let a squeal earning glances from the others travellers at the airport terminal. Scooping up her lone backpack from the conveyer belt she simply didn't pay any attention to them.

This was her last stop of her European adventure and the one she was looking forward to the most.

If it was anything like it was depicted in movies and books she'd never want to leave. Amy was a romantic at heart who loved to live in a world of happily ever afters.

Her mother died when she was one, leaving a grieving father to look after her and her ten-year-old sister Meredith. Not able to deal with his wife's death he turned to alcohol. When her father died of alcohol poisoning when she was thirteen, it was left to twenty-three old Meredith to care for her. Schooling wasn't ever a priority, she was more into the extra curriculum activities like cheerleading and sports. She couldn't concentrate and the moment she graduated she worked two jobs for the past two years to be able to afford a European holiday.

Bypassing the hostel she stuck her head out of the window of the taxi and had it take her immediately to the heart of the city. Paris.

Stepping out she inhaled the foreign air. This was the moment she'd looked forward to for so long, and she would be experiencing every landmark.

Hitching her backpack higher up on her shoulders has the camera poised at the many monuments which surrounded her.

Unbeknown to her a man at a cafe enjoying a chocolate croissant had spied her from amongst the crowd.

He turned towards his friend Orion. "Look at the girl in the coral playsuit near the fountain, isn't she beautiful?"

William had never seen a girl as beautiful as she, her features a contradiction within themselves; flowing ebony hair resting just below her spine and creamy skin.

Orion shielded his eyes from the glaring sun holding his hands as a visor. Finally he spotted the brunette. "That she is." He replied resuming his crossword puzzle, anticipating what would happen next.

"Let's go to her, I must meet her."

Orion held on steady to the pen, vehemently shook his head. He predicted this would happen, William wouldn't be happy until he reached his goal, but it was too soon to destroy the life of a new girl when they'd only just escaped the devastation and carnage.

"We can't be doing this anymore,"
Orion silently begged.

William's slid his sunglasses down his nose, narrowing his eyes into slits and boring them into his. "Are you defying me?" He demanded and Orion shook his head. "You better not be, you realise how easy it would be to gain access to your dear son. What's his name again?" William tapped his chin. "Hunter isn't it?"

Orion gulped, he'd do anything to protect him. He couldn't fathom the harm that would be inflicted on the son he was forced to abandon.

"Well, what are you waiting for?" William asked impatiently and shooed him away.

Orion scrapped the chair against the tiles of the cafe and left. He gripped his black hair out of frustration, his body tight with tension.

Staring over at the girl he prayed she would reject William, or his signals he'd send would be enough for her not to show any interest. It would be a miracle. Nobody rejected William. Ever. It was all about the eyes, with those penetrating aqua tinged eyes, no woman could resist him.

Hell was it any wonder he was the favourite out of all the Archangels?

Orion shook out his hands he conjured up a ploy on the spot to lure the poor girl, just modified it a little bit. It was always the same act.
