A while ago @Snoflake1234 did a homework assignment on Unveiled and asked about the characters zodiac signs. I thought it'll be fun as I go through the series to add facts and interesting tidbits.

Just in case your wondering most of these dates and all of the zodiac signs suit their personalities perfectly.

So here goes...

Luxor: Born in Deer Park, Australia. June 6th, 2004 - Gemini

Evie: Born in Falls Creek, Australia. June 10th, 2004 - Gemini

Hunter: Born in Arcadia, Greece. December 19th, 1621- Sagittarius

Melita: Born in Tripoli, Greece. May 13th, 1621 - Taurus

Nate & Owen: Born in Tripoli, Greece.
January 6th, 1621 - Capricorn

Scarlett: Born in Falls Creek, Australia. March 26th 2004 - Aries

Jake: Born in Falls Creek, Australia. September 8th 2004 - Libra

And of course Celeste and Xavier are not there because they were created rather than born.

**Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' is Luxor's anthem song to Hunter, especially the start!!

Unveiled has gone through so many changes here are some big ones...

POINT OF VIEW

It was originally written in first person and although I liked it it wasn't possible to continue because of the fact Luxor suffers her night terrors and vision quests. The readers need to know what happens when she's asleep and of things around her and you can't do that in first person.

Luxor was originally kick ass and ballsy and not overly naive. Oh my god when I get to editing she will be back to that. I know a lot of people dislike her because of that. There's a massive reason to why she changed, mainly because this book blew from 75k words to over 260k that's about 3 novels!! The only reason I can't divulge til the very end because it'll spoil everything.

NAME CHANGES

LUXOR: Originally known as Luxe then changed to Lux but always wanted to incorporate Lily somehow. I unfortunately read Fallen 🤢 and was devastated the main characters name is Luce. (Even though it was a shortened version of her real name).

EVERSTONE: Luxor's surname was Evans so it would have been Lily Evans. Was watching Harry Potter for the millionth time and did not realise earlier that was Harry Potter's mother's name. Had to change surname but wanted to keep a bit of it, so Everstone it was. I actually love it more. 

XAVIER: He was originally Sebastian. This hurt so much I nearly cried (okay a bit of an exaggeration but it hurt). The reason? I stumbled across a book and the three main characters in it were Evie, Celeste and you guessed it Sebastian. The name Xavier was chosen because I originally would have chosen that for my son.

This leads onto the next name change...

CELESTE: Okay she was originally Celeste but because of the book where I changed Xavier's I was on the verge of changing Celeste to Harper. After asking for advice I was told it would clash too much with Hunter. I still lurve Harper I'll be using somewhere if not in this series somewhere else.

SCARLETT: Originally Megan purely because if you drop the 'g' that's what she is. As you noticed at the start of Unveiled when Luxor meets Scarlett she said she'd leave a scar so I kept that line of thought. My all time favourite movie is Gone With The Wind and Scarlett O'Hara is the most self absorbed, vindictive bitch so it suits.

This name change might seem stupid but I came across Hush, Hush and the antagonist was named Marcie. I swore to the high heavens and beyond because it started with same letter, and that made me stop reading. (I know stupid yeah, but I don't want similarities at all.)

Scarlett was originally blonde but I didn't want the typical blonde haired mean girl so she got a hair colour change. 

MELITA: Originally Sasha (pronounced Saa-sha not Sash-a). Looking through the internet for Greek baby names and Melita came up which means, "honeybee." Since she's blonde and is not a cliche pet name that Hunter calls her.

NATE: Originally Ace

OWEN: Originally Neo

Have no idea why I changed them but they didn't suit but I still love Neo so who knows that could be a future character.

Another big change...

Prologue was originally not included. I wrote it but debated should I or shouldn't I put it in. In the end I think it ups the intensity.

NOVEL TITLE: There was a time I contemplated changing title to Ethereal, but it didn't flow with the rest.
