*Phil’s POV*

There was a little pause.

‘Did you go to the doctor already?’ I suddenly asked out of nowhere. Dan jumped a little, like as if he’d fallen asleep a little.

‘If so, I’ve already forgotten about it. But I highly doubt it, as I never would’ve gone there myself, and he would probably just have sent me to a psychiatrist.’

‘You need to see a doctor,’ I threw at me. ‘I want you to see a doctor. We’re going there first thing tomorrow!’

‘But Phil, you’re back n-‘

‘No!’ I yelled and set upright with so much force I nearly kicked Dan over. ‘No, you’re not telling me you’re okay for a hundred percent already, just because I’ve returned. I don’t want to hear it.’

‘Okay, okay,’ Dan tried again.

‘I’m being serious, Dan. I want you to see a doctor. I just can’t look at you like this. You’re broken, so you need to be repaired.’

This made Dan silent.

‘Alright, we’re going to the doctors tomorrow morning,’ he said.

‘But now, I want you to sleep. You’ve had a rough time surviving.’

He agreed with me and lay down next to me.

‘Goodnight, Phil,’ he said, and soon after that, his breathing turned into a steady, relaxed snoring.

Goodnight, Dan, I thought, and lay down, fully dressed. All’s right again.
