Instead of playing, Jeongguk takes his phone to call his parents.

"Jeonggukie, finally you call." His mother answers immediately after seeing her son's number on the display.

"Hi mom, I've missed your voice. I'm sorry that I haven't called in ages, was really busy."

"It's okay baby, I know. Your dad is the same but did you arrive well? Have you eaten and rested enough?" She's always concerned about his health, knowing that time is money and her men often overwork themselves.

"Of course, but the reason why I'm calling is, that Taehyung is here with me right now." Jeongguk comes straight to the point, afraid the other would knock on his door soon to ask something.

"Oh! Your Taehyung, the one you're going to marry? How did you both meet." She's clearly surprised, has expected it to happen next week.

Jeongguk sighs. "He doesn't know that I'm the one. If he'd know, he'd run away. Is dad there, I need to tell him something and you can listen."

"Sure, wait a moment." His mother covers the speaker and calls for Mister Jeon who doesn't even take a minute to take over.

"Son, how are you?" His voice is soft, he's always supportive and gentle with his only child.

Jeongguk tells him the same he has told his mother.

"Dad, I have a favor to ask." Jeongguk's heart starts to beat a little bit faster, hopes he'd agree.

"What is it? You know you can tell me anything."

Of course he knows but it's still a little bit tricky. "Can you and Mister Kim talk about the situation and maybe let Taehyung stay with me for a while without telling him that we are arranged to marry?"

"You want him to fall for you, won't you? I actually like the idea and will call him, I'm sure he'll agree but Gguk, be careful Taehyung will be really disappointed if he finds out, so be prepared. Should he fall in love with you he'll come around but give him time, okay?" There's no doubt that it will happen, Taehyung's father described the future CEO as someone who trusts easily but if this trust gets broken for some reason, he'll distance himself from that person.

Jeongguk knows it too but still wants to try it. "I will, don't worry. He's a really good person and I'm sure I can love him in the future. Dad, I need to sleep but we can talk soon again so you can tell me what his father has said."

"Good, I'll call him first thing in the morning. Rest well son and show him the company, maybe even let him work there for a bit by your side." Mister Jeon suggests, it's not bad to introduce him to the staff and work early, they have to take over the companies anyway and lead them together.

"Will do, wish me luck, I really want it to work for us." Jeongguk is nervous, so much could go wrong but it's the only way to keep Taehyung by his side to get to know each other better and maybe even fall in love.

"Good luck and good night. We love you, never forget that." His father said and his mother tells him that she wishes him all the best, then they end the call.

It's a rather short night, many thoughts kept the CEO awake, a plan was made and now he's showering while humming a song.

"Jeongguk?" Taehyung knocks on the bathroom door, he really needs to use the toilet.

When the younger doesn't answer he yells louder. "Jeongguk!"

The water finally stops running. "Taehyung, did you say anything?"

The older crosses his legs, it's really urgent now. "Yeah, I need to pee."

Jeongguk slips on the wet floor but fortunately gets a hold on the sink before he could hit the ground. "Shit", he curses silently. "I have another bathroom, go downstairs and then it's the first door to the right."

"Okay, thanks."

Jeongguk hears him running away, chanting that he needs to think of something other than flowing water or a river and can't help but smile. "Why is he so adorable?"

Thirty minutes later they sit down at the kitchen table to eat breakfast. Jeongguk was about to give him tea because Taehyung doesn't like coffee but in a last minute action he prepared an instant coffee for him. That's what most people drink in the morning before going to work, right?

"Oh, thanks." Taehyung smiles but it looks a bit forced, Jeongguk notices, knows that it's because of the bitter taste.

"Is something wrong with it?" He points to to cup in Taehyung's hand with an innocent face. He should become an actor after all of this is over.

Taehyung sighs. "I'm really sorry but I can't drink this. I really tried, I'm sure it's delicious if you actually like coffee." He sets the cup down. "But I hate it, it tastes like shit."

Jeongguk laughs, the younger is glad that he isn't mad. "I have tea too, do you want one?"

"Please." Taehyung looks up puppy-like without even knowing, it comes naturally.

"Stay there, I'll bring it to you." Jeongguk hurries to the cupboard and shows him a fruity one, receives a nod then prepares the the tea for him.

"Thanks so much Jeongguk, you've saved my day." He dramatically says while taking it from the other's hand.

"It's my pleasure but tomorrow you know where it is." He winks at him and drinks his own coffee with satisfaction.

It's almost time to go to the company, it's been a while since he had worked in the Korean office. "Do you have any plans for today?"

Taehyung thinks for a moment. "Well, I need to search for an apartment but other than that, no."

"Perfect, you can do it at my workplace." Jeongguk gets up and cleans the table of the dishes.

"Uh, what?" The older is kind of dumbfounded now.

"You're coming with me, I can help you with that." Jeongguk smiles softly and who's Taehyung to say no to this offer.

"Okay, I'll just change my clothes then I'll be ready." Without waiting for a reply he jumps up from the chair and runs upstairs.

Jeongguk watches him until he can't see him anymore. "It won't be difficult to fall for you, Kim Taehyung." He smiles to himself, turns around to put the used things into the dishwasher.
