Once Eunha got inside she saw her grandma laying there with her eyes closed.

Eunha: Grandma!!
(She said running up to her and held her hands tightly.)

Tears started falling out of her eyes.

She kept on repeatedly calling for her grandma, but there was no reply.

The boy outside, heard Eunha.

He felt really bad, he started walking back to his room with tears in his eyes as well.

***

Eunha: Grandma.. You can't leave me either.. You're all I have left...
(She said begging.)

But she couldn't do anything else.

She knew her grandma wouldn't be coming back again.

Eunha sat there and cried for 30 more minutes, until they had to transfer her to the cold room.

She cried some more when she got back to her grandma's room.

She looked at the empty bed.

On one of the night stands beside the bed was a picture of Eunha and her grandma.

Under it was a note.

She picked it up.

"Dear my lovely Eunha,
I'm sorry I just left you like that. Please take good care of yourself, while I'm resting. I know you're upset. And I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise. I will watch you graduate from above. I'm very proud of you, and I'm very thankful to have you. Make wise choices. Life is short. Those dumplings you made were the best I've ever had. Please remember to stay healthy and happy. Thank you for everything. Saranghaeyo!

-Your one and only best Grandma <3

Eunha held the paper close to her heart.

She hugged it tightly as she cried some more.

She just sat there in the cold floor and cried her heart out.

The next morning, almost everyone in the same hospital knew about Eunha's grandma's death.

JungKook came early to see Yuju before he went to school.

Yuju: Did you hear?

JungKook: Hear what?

Yuju: A grandma in this hospital passed away last night. And she left her granddaughter. I feel so bad for her. I heard that her grandma was all she had left.

JungKook: How old was the granddaughter?

Yuju: They said she was in her last year of high school.

JungKook: That must suck, the grandmother didn't get to see her granddaughter graduate..

Yuju: Yeah.. You should get going, or else you'll be late.

JungKook: Ye. Bye!
(He said looking at his watch, then he said goodbye to Yuju and her mother.)

***

Eunha couldn't go to school today.

She laid there in bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

She had lost everything.
