Chapter 12

Later on, JungKook went to the hospital with Yuju.

This time JungKook went inside the room with Yuju.

Jin was applying the medicine on Yuju's face.

JungKook: Do you have to be the one to apply the medicine on?
(He asked curiously.)

Jin nodded.

Jin: Why do you ask? Is it because I'm touching your girlfriends face?
(He teased.)

JungKook stayed quiet.

Because he didn't really want anyone touching Yuju.

Jin smiled at their cuteness.

JungKook was walking Yuju home.

JungKook: Can't you just take the medicine home and apply it yourself? Why does your doctor have to do it?
(He asked out of the blue.)

Yuju: The doctor said that I can't put it on myself.

JungKook: Then I'll do it!
(He said as he stopped walking and faced Yuju.)

Yuju: What?

JungKook: I'll do it for you!

Yuju: Anniyo, it's okay.

JungKook: I don't want to keep going there every night. I'm tired after coming home so late.
(He pouted.)

Yuju: Well then don't come with me. You were the one who invited yourself to come along.

JungKook: Ahhh, Yuju-ah..
(He said clinging onto one of her arm.)

Yuju started walking.

JungKook: I'm serious, I'll do it for you! Tomorrow, I'll ask the doctor if we can bring it home, and I'll apply it on for you.

They were in front of Yuju's house.

Yuju: I'm going inside.
(She said ignoring JungKook.)

JungKook: Wait! I'm doing it for real!
(He yelled, as Yuju walked inside.)

JungKook sighed.

JungKook: Does she not like me or what?
(He said scratching his head.)

Then he walked home.

As he was one block away from his house, there were three gangster guys sitting and standing there.

JungKook hesitated for a moment.

Then he tried to act and look tough.

He approached them.

Guy: Where are you going?

JungKook: Home.
(He said not making any eye contact.)

The other guys laughed.

Guy: We'll let you go if you give us all your money.

JungKook: I don't have any with me right now.
(He lied.)

Guy: Yah!
(He said knocking over some things, as he walked towards JungKook.)

JungKook got startled.

Guy: Give it over now!!
(He yelled.)

JungKook: Didn't I tell you guys already!!! I don't have any!!!
(He screamed back.)

Then the guy laughed.

JungKook: You guys just sit and wait here for people to come and go, then take their money?

Guy: Yeah! What if we do do that?!
(He said pushing Jungkook's chest back harshly.)

JungKook dramatically dusted his chest.

Then he was finally able to make eye contact.

He glared at them.

JungKook didn't know what was happening to him.

But once the guys saw what they saw they all got scared.

Jungkook's eyes were glaring red light.

Like there was light coming out of his eyes.

All of them bowed and ran away.

Scared.

JungKook was confused but he smiled happily.

Because he didn't loose his money.

Then he continued walking home.

The next day in the morning.

JungKook was laying in bed.

Feeling so much pain from his back.

He was home alone, since his parents were having their honeymoon in America.

He was in so much pain he could barely move or get up.

His face and lips were super pale.

He slowly got his phone off his night stand.

He called Yuju's number.

She picked up.

Yuju: Annyeohasayo?

JungKook didn't have the strength to answer.

Yuju: Annyeohasayo? Is anyone there?

All she could hear was JungKook groaning.

She was confused and worried.

Yuju quickly came over.

She knocked on his door several times.

Then the door finally opened.

JungKook was standing there shirtless.

Yuju: Yah!
(She said looking away quickly while covering her eyes.)

Then JungKook collapsed to the floor.

Yuju looked and saw JungKook.

Her eyes widened, shocked.

She quickly moved JungKook to his couch in their living room.

She quickly called the ambulance.

As she was about to talk, JungKook grabbed her wrist.

Yuju was startled.

Phone: Annyeohasayo, this is Seoul Hospital, what is your emergency?

JungKook: Please.. don't... leave... me..
(He said, barely having any strength.)

Yuju quickly answered them.

Yuju: Annyeohasayo? My-
(She hesitated for a moment.)
Boyfriend is in a lot of pain right now! Please come as soon as possible!
(She said crying.)

Then she hung up.

She looked at JungKook.

His eyes were closed.

Yuju: JungKook!! Wake up! Please endure it for a bit more! Please!!
(She begged while crying.)

She didn't know why she was crying, but somehow she could feel Jungkook's pain inside of her.
