Chapter 7

An hour passed.

The doctor walked out.

Yuju's mother and JungKook quickly stood up.

Yuju's mother: Doctor, how is Yuju?

Doctor: She is fine. Her heart started acting up again. For now we will move her to her original room. She also needs to rest.

Yuju's mother: Thank you doctor.

JungKook and Yuju's mother stayed there with her while she was sleeping.

It started to turn dark outside.

Yuju's mother: JungKook, you should get going. It's getting late, and you have school tomorrow early in the morning. I'll take care of her.

JungKook: Ye. Then, I'll get going.
(He said bowing as he took his things and left.)

The next day after school, JungKook brought some more food for Yuju.

Yuju's mother was also there, so things got a little more awkward.

After they were done eating, Yuju asked JungKook to sing.

JungKook: Wae?
(He asked shyly.)

Yuju: Because the other night, your voice sounded beautiful.

JungKook blushed.

JungKook: Araso. What song would you like me to sing?

Yuju: Anything would be fine.
(She said excited with a wide smile across her face.)

JungKook got his phone out.

A piano sound started coming out.

Then he started singing to it, as if he wrote the song himself.

After that Yuju and her mother applauded.

They were both very amazed.

Yuju gave JungKook a thumbs up.

Jungkook smiled.

JungKook: Thank you.
(He smiles cheekily.)
Feel free to ask me to sing for you whenever you want.

Yuju: Ye. Thank you.

A kid from their school walked past Yuju's room.

She saw Yuju and JungKook in there smiling.

She walked closer to the door.

It really was JungKook and Yuju.

She really liked JungKook.

Her name was Eunha.

She was jealous of Yuju.

Then she quickly walked away before they could see her eavesdropping on them.

She accidentally walked into the wrong room.

She saw a boy laying on the bed instead of her grandma.

Eunha: Ah! Who are you?

Boy: I should be the one asking you that. Who are you? This is my room.

Eunha: It is?
(She said walking outside to check on the label next to the door.)

Eunha's cheeks became super red.

She was so embarrassed.

Eunha: I'm sorry.
(She said bowing as she quickly walked out.)

The boy smiled.
