So it has been 3 years. That time when my mom came back from granny's, I had gotten whipped all over my body. The pain has faded eventually. I got restricted from using any electronics such as a computer, phone, and even radio! What could possibly do with a radio? That was RIDICULOUS. I felt like I was placed in a concentration camp but except I was allowed to go to school and come back.
Funny thing was that my brothers were allowed to use all the electronics. They were even given their Play stations to play with. I can deal with all these immature things but I just wanted to get in touch with my prince. There was no possible way for that.My whole family shifted into a new terrace house. The house was gigantic compared to the old house we lived in. It had a front garden and 5 bedrooms and two kitchens. It was like every child's dream house. But I don't fancy them. I never liked it. It only showed off wealth but never happiness. My friends used to tell me "Wah!! Meeya you are soo lucky to live in a big house man!" And I used to shrug it off with a fake smile. BECAUSE they don't know what lies inside the 'lovely' house. And also... I missed my neighborhood. Here the neighbours were quiet. Every time when I see them, they looked at me weirdly without a smile and would walk off into their homes. I always found that very suspicious...
"Bye Syadeek, I have food for you in the fridge. Heat it up and eat it!" Mom left for work and the house was left with me, him and my Sister in law. My Sister In-law had given birth to a baby boy 2 years ago. His name was Rayyan. He was a naughty little chunk! Having him in our house has changed a lot of things between my mom and Jasmine. You will know later.
"Oh no, it's time! We need to fetch Hima from the childcare centre!" Jasmine panicked as she quickly wore the burqa (a black dress) and a scarf around her head. "Come Meeya! Let's go!" She nudges me to get ready. For me, I just have to put a scarf and I'm ready. This is the only time I get to go out of the house. So I won't miss it anytime.
The childcare centre was not very far. It will usually take around 10 minutes to get there.
