The sky became dark and low with ominous black clouds and the wind picked up, howling, crying, warning, baying like a wolf into the night.

Then it fell as if from buckets, cascading like a waterfall from the heavens

Then it fell as if from buckets, cascading like a waterfall from the heavens. It pounded on the roof as if it were demanding entrance.

Months have passed. And I am still alive. Oh, you wonder what happened to my Nephew, Rayan? He is alive. When Jasmine wanted to show the doctor the Medicine my mom gave, it fell off her hand and broke into pieces, leaving behind no evidence of what medicine it was. See the days when not all had cellphones, we couldn't even take a photo of the evidence we need.

Oh, and the $500 you may ask, it was in her wardrobe in plain sight. She found it an still proceeded to accuse me to say that I should have placed it back knowing I was caught. How ridiculous.

It was the last day of school for secondary 2. It is going to be the start of the November holidays which extends till the New Year. This is the period of time, many families travel overseas to enjoy and spend time together. It's the time that everyone was waiting for.

But... it's the time I DREADED the most.

My family rarely travels. Yes, it's ironic given that they are so rich. But take note they are money-minded. Thus even if just 1 dollar was spent, it will be as if their whole fortune was spent. They don't understand the value of quality time and experience over some plastic/paper rectangular notes we call money.

That day the weather was playing charades with me. It was trying to act out how I was feeling.

GLOOMY. I got it. One point for me for totally figuring it out.

I won

I won

The first crack of lightning rents the air and within seconds the rolling boom of the thunder reverberates overhead. Soon the rain fell, slow to start, splattering the sidewalks haphazardly. Then it fell as if from buckets, cascading like a waterfall from the heavens.

I held my bag on top of my head and ran quickly to the bus stop.

FULLY DRENCHED. Awww, thank you clouds for showering me with rewards cause I won the charades 😑. Or was it revenge out of jealousy🤨. tsk.
