Luke's POV:
I miss her, I miss her so much
I wish she didn't leave
I regret everything
I can't fix this now
I can't fix this
It's my fault
It's all my fault
And now she is gone....

She is gone for good and I'm never going to get her back

The realization hit me harder than a truck.
I sat in silence contemplating what had just happened I lost a great girlfriend that probably doesn't care about me anymore because I abused her so much.

I would give the world just to have her back for one minute

I began pacing around my house thinking about Kelsey getting enraged and furious by the second. I ran up the stairs in a rage. I ran down the long hall and into my bedroom before kicking the wall adjacent to my bed without any thought.
I got up to my surprise after falling to the ground then walked downstairs
I sat down on the last step and decided to call someone.

But who?
normally i would
call kels in a
situation
like this but she
probably won't
answer now.

I scrolled through my hundreds of contacts until I got to kelsey's contact.
I paused for a second

kels 💓

I called her number and prayed to hear her soft, beautiful voice that I missed so much.

the phone rang for what seemed like forever before I heard

"Your call has been forwarded to an automated voice message system..."

I hung up

crap. she won't even
answer my call

I decided to call someone else
Michael

I called Michael. I knew he probably wouldn't answer right away but I need to talk to somebody soon. He answered but didn't say anything.

"Michael?" I say.
" hello Luke. " Michael replies.
"Um I'm not sure how to say this but do you remember a while ago when I told you about Kelsey and I getting into a fight?" I say in a calm, quiet voice.

"Well, I have a confession to make and you are the first to hear about it."

"so we got into a horrible fight, well it was my fault, all of it was she didn't do anything I treated her so horribly and if I could I would do anything to change it and be able to hear her sweet voice."
silence on Michael's end for a few seconds before you began speaking again

"anyway..." you say trailing into an unsure pause "um the reason i'm calling is because i'm in the hospital."

"after Kels and I got into that fight it escalated once she left my house and I did stupid things impulsively and hurt myself badly."

" I thought I should tell you before you hear it from someone who isn't me."

you end the call not even waiting for a respond
