Lucas's pov.
Class is now out I have science after lunch with Mike and Dustin Will isn't here today. "Lucas!" I hear a familiar voice shout. I look up and see Dustin running towards me with a red headed girl behind him on a skateboard. "Hay dude this is Max she has math with me and science with us too!" He said with excitement I looked at Max and waved to her. She rolled she waved back and started going in circles on her skateboard. "Hay do you want to go to the arcade after school today with Mike and Will?" I asked Dustin. He nodded his head "Can I go?" Max asked. "Yeah sure we leave after school." I said
                      After School
*Max's pov.*
School was finally over I made some friends with some boys I know two of there names it's Will and Lucas and Frog-face and Toothless. Me,Will and Lucas meet up with with Frog-Face and toothless. They get on there bikes and I get on my skateboard. When we leave I see my step brother Billy flirting with two girls. "What do they see in him? I bet they would talk to him if they knew what he was capable of at home." I whisper "What?" Lucas looked over at me "Nothing." I sighed
We had got to the arcade and we all started playing our different games except for Frog-Face and Will. It was already 5:30 my curfew was 7:00 and it took me about an hour to get home on my skateboard and I also didn't know the way so it would take me about two hours. And I couldn't miss curfew Billy would get mad and something he get out of control. I took my jacket off and finished the round I was playing of my game. "Hay guys I got to go my curfew is at 7:00." I said looking at the boys "It's only 5:45 what's the rush?" Toothless asked "I don't really know the way home so it'll take me a bit longer." I sighed "I gotta bounce too." Lucas said and put his jacket on "Can you help me find the way home?" I asked Lucas. He sighed but nodded with a smile on his face. I playfully shoved him out the door. It was a quiet ride until we heard sirens in front of us. We went to the side of the road and waited for it to pass. It was a blue car being chased by the police "Dang it!" I said a little to loud "You know them?" Lucas asked getting back on his bike "It's just my stupid step brother." I sighed
We had gotten to my house it was only 6:30 "Thanks." I said smiling at Lucas. He nodded and I waved goodbye. I started walking into my house "MAX COME HERE!" I heard Lucas shout. I laid my skateboard down on the grass and went over to Lucas. He took my wrist and held it up showing all the bruises,scratches,and scars I had. He looked at me confused I pulled my wrist away about in tears and started walking off. He grabbed my other wrist and I tried to pull away but he had a strong grip I looked back at his "WHAT!" I yelled at him in tears. "Billy?" He asked. I nodded still in tears. He pulled me into a hug then told me that it was going to be okay. After that he left

Hay guys sorry for the long chapter but if you couldn't tell Max is being abused by Billy and Lucas know but I hope you like the chapter and also sorry for the ending it was really bad how he just left but this chapter was way too long and it had to stop but please comment,Vote, and keep reading!!!
