•Lucas's POV•
Two weeks later
I've been picked on every day since Halloween but today was different someone stood up for me. A boy came up to me and pushed me back and said "Oh no help me there's ghosts in my house someone call the ghostbusters" and started laughing but Max stood up to him. She ran in front of me and punched him and told him to stop making fun of me he said "Okay I'm gonna leave not because I'm scared but I will not hit a girl" and he ran off. I looked at Max "Thanks Max, a lot" she smiled and said "No problem Stalker" "Hay so me and the boys are going to the arcade after school wanna come?" I asked she nodded her head and went to class.
After school
We all met up at the arcade it was Mike,Dustin,Will,and me but no Max. We played a few rounds of "Dungeon Dragon" and then I felt a hard smack on the back of my head. I looked back and saw Max. Her hitting me made me lose the game but I didn't seem to care. "My turn Stalkers time to see how it's really done" she laughed She did everything so quick I couldn't even explain it she won the game in ten minutes. A game that would have took us one hour. All the boys started cheering for her and gave her high fives. She looked at me and we both smiled. "Okay well I gotta bounce." She said as she got up "Me too guys I gotta help make dinner." I said as I got up. "Wanna walk me home stalker" she said as we got out of the doors. I nodded and we headed to her home. When we got there she got off her skateboard and started walking in. I heard the door open but swiftly closed as I started to leave. "Hay stalker" she yelled from her driveway. I stopped my bike and got off it "Yeah?" I asked quite confused "Thanks for everything." She said as she smiled and kissed me on the cheek. She then ran inside and I left feeling happy
