Second Period – ENGLISH

“Good morning, Eva.”

‘Good morning, Ms. Evans.’

“You seem happy today.”

‘Yes, it’s a new day.’

“I am happy that you are happy. How is your hand btw?”

‘Thank you, Ms. Evans. My hand is getting better now.’

*Bell ringing*

‘Ms. Evans?’

“Yes, Eva?”

‘You really look beautiful today.’

“You too, dear.”

COFFEE SHOP

‘Mrs. Pattinson. How are you today?’

“I am fine, Eva. How are you?”

‘I am great, Mrs. Pattinson. Um, who is this new boy?’

“He is Jamie, my son.”

‘Okay.’

“Hi, I am Jamie. And you are?”

‘Yeah, I learnt that from Mrs. Pattinson. I am Eva.’

“You know you are definitely my type.”

‘Look, you are cute, but I know you are definitely not my type.’

“We will see about that.”

“Hey, Eva.”

‘Hi Ms. Ev..Emily.’

“I see you still haven’t got used to my name.”

‘Um, I will be. Same order like yesterday?’

“Yes, same order with the same extra packet of sugar.”

‘Coming right up.’

“Who is she?”

‘Why do you bother?’

“I am just asking. She looks hot.”

‘Jamie, weren’t you earlier flirting with me?’

“Yeah, babe.”

‘Then why did you switch to her?’

“I love older woman.”

‘I tend to love them too. They are so loving and caring.’

“Do you like her?”

‘That’s an understatement. I really like her, but I go in school where people hate me for being a lesbian.’

“Hey, I don’t judge. If I tell you a secret, will you tell me yours?”

‘Agreed.’

“Okay. Well whatever I told you about girls it’s totally wrong. I am into boys, but being with my mom, I have to act like I am into girls. I have a boyfriend. We both love each other.”

‘Wow. That’s something to hear these days. I am happy for you. And mine secret, is that I write a secret diary.’

“Can I get to see?”

‘Um, nope. There are feelings that I have written about Ms. Evans.’

“So, what is wrong with that? Oh, she doesn’t know about them yet?”

‘About what?’

“About your feelings for her?”

‘No. I want to tell her but when the time is right.’
