Chapter Nine

Peter's Pov

I should've know. I should've know she actually slept with him. He told us she was planning to, but I never thought she actually would. After all these years of mourning her death, just to realize that Edward was right. Pissed isn't even the word to use. I was furious. I was hurt.

"Please, Wait." Patrick said, rushing after Emmett and I. Dale was right in his tale.

"No, I'm sorry because that's your mother, but fuck her." I said, angrily. Emmett and I arrived in Nora's room, grabbing the few things we brought with us.

"You have to listen to her." Dale said. "Let her explain." I turned to him in a fury.

"Let her explain? Let her explain what? That she slept with someone else during our relationship? That she's sorry?" I yelled. "She lied about it! She was never gonna tell us! They have a kid together for fuck sake!"

"I'm sorry, Dale. I would've loved to get to know you, but I can't stay here." Emmett said. I could see he was more hurt than anything. For all the years that I've known him, he might have a big build and look tough, but he feels more than anyone I know. Even more than Jasper, and that's saying something. Emmett felt things with his whole being.

"Let the Volturi leaders know, we're taking our leave." I said as Emmett and I walked to the entrance we came in. It was nighttime out, so I know we'll be able to leave without exposing ourselves.

"You still have to come to the ball." Patrick pointed out.

"Oh, we know." I said with a smirk. I will be at the ball, Charlotte on my arm. It will be delightful, to see my mates face. To see her wearing the same hurt she's caused us.

"Please don't go." I heard a voice say from behind us. I turned to see Nora. I cut my eyes at her.

"After everything, I don't even know how you think you have the right to say that." I spat out.

"I don't know what I did to deserve you as a mate." Emmett said to her. We all looked at him shocked. Never did I think, he'd say something like that.

"Em, please. You have to let me explain." She begged. "Please don't do this again. Please don't leave me again."

"Don't talk to me. Ever again, Slut." He growled out. He turned to me, "Let's go Peter."

With that, we walked out the castle. Nora's sobs sounded from behind. It took everything in me not to turn back around and hold her in my arms. A pain formed in my chest as I got further away from my mate.

We returned back to the Cullen manor soon after that. The pain has since tripled since leaving Nora. I couldn't be there, seeing her. Knowing everyday she slept with Edward. Edward who hasn't told a single soul.

"I'm gonna kill him." I said to Emmett, as we walked inside.

"I'll help." He said, his tone monotone. It was weird seeing him like this. Emmett has always been the life of the party. Always been a child trapped in an adult's body. But this isn't Emmett, not anymore. He's just a shell now.

"Boys?" Carlisle said, as we walked into the living room. The whole Cullen clan was there. Jasper, Alice, Rosalie, Charlotte. The whole lot of them, including Edward. Before I could react and try to rip his head off, Emmett pounced.

Bella and Renesmee let out a scream. Jasper and Carlisle tried to pull Emmett off before he ripped Edwards's head off. I stood and watched, hoping Emmett would succeed.

"Peter help us." Jasper yelled.

"No." I said, everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Jasper and Carlisle ended up getting Emmett off of Edward and was holding him back.

"What is the meaning of this?" Esme demanded. Her husband and Jasper were still holding Emmett back. He was fighting against them, baring his teeth. He looked like a wild animal. I wasn't far behind him. I wanted this bastard's head on a plate.

"Tell them, Edward." I demanded. He stood against the wall in his wife's arms, blank faced.

"Tell us what?" Esme asked, confused.

"Read my mind and tell them." I growled, stepping near him. "Tell them how has sex with Nora! Tell them!"

"What?" Bella and Jasper chorused.

"He was a virgin when we met." Bella defended. Edward still had on his poker face. I was starting to get angry.

"How come He has another daughter then?" Emmett yelled. Bella looked at her husband shocked and dropped her arms from around him.

"Tell me this isn't true." She asked quietly.

"I didn't know I had a child with her." Edward said, "I thought she was dead. She should've been dead."

"Oh my god." Bella said, stepping away and grabbing her child. I tried to pounce but I was grabbed, by Esme and Charlotte. Jasper let go of Emmett and rushed to Edward, holding him up by his neck. He was letting The Major out.

"Give me one reason why I shouldn't rip your head off right now." The Major growled.

"Please don't kill me Daddy." Nessie begged, trying to pull away from her mother. The Major dropped him, and walked out of the house.

"You better be lucky Nessie asked us to spare you." I hissed at him. He looked up at me smirking. I tried to pounce but Esme and Charlotte has a tight grip. This asshole is lucky.
