Chapter 2: The Red Heads

After dinner with my relatives, Uncle Amos gave us some dessert that was absolutely delicious. This must have been some wizard food. Well, whatever it was, it was absolutely the best thing I have ever tasted. Cedric and I went into the living room and we just talked about each other. Things like our adventures, our lives, some personal things, you know what I mean. I think Cedric and I will get along just fine. He was a great person to hang around with.

Uncle Amos then came and told us to get ready for bed. I went to my room and got into my night clothes. I didn't get into bed though. I stayed up around my desk just sitting in the chair as I stroked Mystery's feathers. I had to get started on homework soon. I have quite a lot to do. Hmm, I'll start it later in the month. There was nothing to worry about now. After all, I did just get home from the Hogwarts Express.

I decided I should send a letter to my friends, well, only Harry and Ron since they are the only one's that have an owl other than me. Poor Hermione, she doesn't even have an owl. Maybe I'll get her one for her birthday in September. Seems like a plan. . . . I got out a piece of paper and my ink and quill. I first started my letter to Harry, telling him about my relatives. I then went on to Ron and pretty much just said the same thing except about how he was doing in Egypt when he was going to leave.

Once I finished writing up both my letters, I rolled them up and attached it to Mystery's leg. I didn't feel like calling Harry just yet. It was already too late anyways, and I don't know how late he stays up. Especially if I woke up his relatives as well.

I opened the window in front of me and let Mystery fly out as I gave her my direct orders about the two. I smiled to myself as I got into my bed and curled into the blanket. The bed was really comfortable as well. I sighed as I snuggled into it and fell asleep.

Uncle Amos agreed to let me go see the Weasley's before they took off and I was so excited to see them! They said that I could any time that I wanted to and that I could bring Cedric along! Only Cedric didn't even want to go. . . . I didn't mind it by much, I was just glad that I could finally see them. And this time I could see their parents as well! Yay! But Merlin, I was shy to meet them. Oh well!

I walked out of the house alone so I could walk over to see them. Uncle Amos told me the direction that they were in and I was heading over to them right now. It was a far long walk, but I didn't really care. I needed the exercise anyways. I'm pretty sure it was at least two and a half miles to reach, by how I've gotten to already.

Now, I could finally see their house. Well, unless they have someone else living in between them, which I didn't really think so. I could already tell it was the Weasley's by their unique style. . . .

I walked up to there door step and tried to peep through the windows to see if they were still home. I couldn't see anything but I could definitely hear them. For a moment I hesitated, but then I just knocked on the door getting it over with.

I waited for someone to open the door to greet me. I heard everything go silent on the inside of the house once my knock echoed through the house. Seconds later and I heard the door knob fumbling and turn as the door creaked open. I got to see half of Ginny's face.

"Ginny!" I said with a wide grin once I saw her. I saw her eyes widen once she saw me and she beamed into a smile and opened the door a bit wider so I could see her face fully.

"Aquila! What are you doing here? How did you know where we live?" Ginny asked.

"Aquila's here?!" I heard my name being called from the back behind Ginny. The door was suddenly swung opened in a forced jerk as two twins emerged. "Aquila!" The two beamed into a grin as they ran up to squish me into a hug.
