The Aftermath of the Second American Civil War was in deed very dreadful, Many left the country to the Canadian Commonwealth or to the Irish Republic, But this did not stopped the great general from saving the nation. Most cities were either in the process being rebuilt or just left there to let nature reclaimed it, In no time most people had began to volunteer for repair and rebuilding the whole country.

Washington D.C., The Capital of the United States of America in 1939 was no more than a ghost town and very derelict, The only occupants in the city were of course the Federalists and some forty thousand civilians roaming freely. The Police were still in the city and keeping order, The National Guard that was there were unimaginably so exhausted due to both the Syndicate Arial Bombing that on countless times would use White Phosphorus bombs that would light the whole streets on fire causing massive damage.

MacArthur who was in the White House started to issue a bill that would put the people back to work but first, He needed to organize a "Rehabilitation Party" that would rebuild America and put the United States back into business. He also need Congressional permission to reinstated a community service work force able enough to repair everything, Douglas knew that most people in the west were not so worried anymore but they were mainly worried in the east. Still keep in mind most Syndicate and Minutemen Militias are said to reside in most of the original territories of both the CSA and AUS. The Pacific States were integrated back into the Union, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and the Atolls were American territories again, Reed managed to make it out alive during when the Battle of Detroit was in it's early skirmishes, Long did manage to get out as well by seeking a visa into the Australasian Confederation.

Americans that were loyal to MacArthur were always on the alert for any of Reeds Militia's or Long's Minutemen, People in the Rust Belt where Reed's fanatical dictatorship was, Were unimaginably happy with MacArthur freeing them. Reed was a dictator and did not take no for an answer, When he declared the CSA, He had installed the "Michigan Terror" in which around five hundred thousands of people who did not agree with him or had a different ideology parish. The coverage of the terror was so much that it was ranked the top 10 mass murders in history. MacArthur went to the sites in which the brutal acts were carried out, He also was crying due to the brutality that was waged upon the Innocent civilians.

MacArthur knew that this Massacre would be known throughout the world as the "Michigan Massacre" This was again not just Reed but the French Commune and the Union of Britains Charm of saying "Freedom to the People". Douglas had an idea to put a monument dedicated and honoring those who suffered through the Massacre, The General needed to focus on America now because he could not turn back the clocks to fix the past. Upon moments, MacArthur then Asked congress that he would become the "American Caesar" Congress approved and General Douglas MacArthur became the Dictator of America.
