But you, the oblivious, young, too-stupid-to-see-what-you-had-asshole. You let her go. And let me tell you my friend, that in about 7 or 8 years you are gonna come across something that reminds you of your high school sweetheart like the smell of her apple perfume and the taste of her chapstick. Then suddenly, you will realize you two were supposed to grow old together. And even years after that when you're married and happy your kids will ask you about high school and she'll come to mind and suddenly you won't be happy anymore cause you'll look at your wife and know that it was supposed to be her, but my dear friend, oh my dear friend, don't let her slip away from you. Hold on to her even when things get rough. Because if you let her go now, you will realize later that she was the one.
