The Life of Calypso

Chapter 13

Leo POV

I didn't know a lot about this guy but that he was Calypso Ex-boyfriend. By the way everyone else acted he said something really bad to my girl and I can't let that slide even though I haven't known her like he probably did.

"What do you want Seth?" said Meredith who was being held back by Carter with one arms. She was a feisty girl and would anything to kill someone especially Seth. Meredith was a really good friend to Calypso. Every one was. They acted like they were her big brothers and sisters. This group was what was keeping her together.

This group was her life and soul.

If anything happened to one of her friends she would break down. And now my as her boyfriend had to make sure that nothing happened to them.

"I am just here like all of you. I am here trying to get something to eat." Seth said with a smirk on his face.

I could tell everyone was staring at the girl that was around his arms. "Oh. This is Stephanie." When I heard this name I instantly knew how she was.

"Stephanie as in Stephanie Martinez. "

"Yes, do you know me?" the girl said, felt a little disappointed that she didn't know who I was. I decided to not say anything because I could feel Meredith's death stare on me know.

"No, I am thinking about someone else." I said to cover up what I juts had said. Everyone's stare went right back on Seth. "Well, this is getting really weird. Me and Steph are going to leave you guys and this lower to your dinner." When I heard this, I felt the fire in my body starting to burn. I needed to control it unless I would hurt someone really badly. I could sense that Calypso knew what was happening be she felt my hands getting warm. She looked at me and gave me the calm down look. I knew she was right.

Before he left Carter, OUT OF NO WHERE, shot water out of his hand, making Seth and Stephanie fall to the floor.

Carter POV

Seth was really getting on my nerves when he said that about Leo. I could feel that water rush from my hand. I got so mad that I felt like I had to. I aimed my hand at his head and shot. The water hit him, which mad him fall on the floor. He got up but before anyone could do anything, I saw Meredith and Janice running towards Carter. I looked at Gabriel and we both knew what we had to do. But it was to late, Meredith had her knife, Berry, already out. Jancie had her blade, Sky, out and read to hit anyone in her sight. Gabriel got her before she could cut Stephanie who was in on the floor next to Seth. I got Meredith and pulled her over my shoulder again. We walked back to the rest of the group, put money on the table to pay for the dinner and walked out. Thank to the mist no one saw what had happened.

As we walked to put cars I put Meredith down after she calmed down. We all decided to go to the girls house so we could calm down and find out what happened to night that mad it go so wrong.

The "mist" is something the hides their powers from the mortal world. It will make it seem like something else "normal" is happening.

I probably won't be updating this weekend. So you will have to wait until next week.
