Chapter 1

I Molly Macque. I'm Short, with straight long dirty blond hair, and dark green eyes. I live in a hotel with my dad Mike Macque. My dad is tall, with dark black straight hair, and light grey eyes. My dad owns the hotel called Sam Macque—named after my great grandfather. We also have a secret that no one else knows. We are mefwas—cat humans. Not just any mefwas though. We are utmas. We can turn other people into mefwas just by looking at them with our black eyes or biting them when we are kittens. I bit my mom when I was little. She was short, with wavy short dirty blond hair, and light green eyes. Some bites are fatal in this case it was. We were devastated we told everyone that it was natural causes. We had her cremated. I loved her even though I had only known her for four years. A year later I killed a maid that worked at the hotel as well. My dad home schooled me and never let me out around the hotel. Every now and then I would sneak out with my friend mason. I'm 18 now about to graduate from my home school. Yet I'm still under my dads wing. Mason is a 20 year old,tall, brown fluffy haired, light blue green kind eyes, and a smile that can light up a room.  After my mom died--when I was still allowed out around in the hotel—he was the only friend I had. Every time he smiled I couldn't help but laugh. But now I'm dating mason without my dads knowledge.
