Chapter 18

That night sky, Mason and I stayed up late watching movies and eating popcorn. After the movies were over it was around 1 in the morning. I still had one question on my mind, hey sky, are you a mefwa to." She looked at me and then looked at Mason. Mason nodded. Then she yelled," MASON , YOU TOLD HER." He stepped forward, "yes i told her I'm not going to keep secrets from my girlfriend." I was tired and getting impatient," huhum." They both looked at me," yes I'm a mefwa." She stormed off. Mason shook his head and walked off as well. I was left there by myself. When I went back to our room the door was closed," ma..." I knew he was mad. He had been mad before but he had always talked to me about it not locked me out. I could tell he needed his space. So I went to the couch and slept.

Later I woke up to someone in the kitchen," Mason, is that you." He turned by this time I could see his face. He looked shocked I was awake," why are you on the couch." " You closed the door, and I wanted to go to bed." He came over and sat down," you could have knocked."  I looked down," you seemed upset." He grabbed my hand and pulled me up," come on." He pulled my back to the room. I laid down," what were you doing in the kitchen." He looked over at me," I was looking for you," he sat down," when you didn't come to bed I worried." I felt bad," I'm sorry." He came over and hugged me and whispered in my ear," I'm sorry,too." He laid down next to where I was sitting. I leaned against him and kissed his cheek.

The next morning Mason was awake—for once. He was getting dressed on the opposite side of the room. He turned around and saw me blushing," good morning." He started to laugh he had a pair of ripped jeans on and no shirt. He came over to me and kissed my forehead. I couldn't believe it was already Wednesday. We leave Friday," are we going to go see your mom today." He was squatting down in front of me," yeah but we will leave for lunch." " where are we eating for lunch." He thought about it for a moment," how about Denny's its one of the best places in town and my molls deserves the best." I blushed and kissed him because I couldn't think of anything to say.
