"Mason," I looked at him puzzled. "I was looking for you dad, and his secretary said he was on the 5th floor attending to something." I smiled and stepped to the side pointing at my dad. Mason walked forward and kissed my cheek, and started talking to my dad. I couldn't make out their whole conversation but I heard the first few words. Mason said something about taking leave to visit home. I wanted to butt in so bad and ask if I could go, but I knew how long it must have taken Mason to work up this much courage.

Since I  hadn't finished my morning rounds I skipped off. Floor 6 is where Miss Tally live one of my favourite people ever. She is like a mom to me. Before I was locked up by my dad she let me sit in her lap and she would read to me. She would also make me cookies. Miss Tally is a medium sized old lady,  with short light grey hair, and light blue eyes.

One of my favourite books that she would read was Kitty Mae. It's about a little kitten who would run away from home when it rained and splash in the puddles. One day she was having so much fun splashing she did not see the wolf heading towards her. Then she heard the low grumble of his stomach and darted for her house. He was chasing her and he was catching up. She quickly dart into the cat door and under her owners feet. The owner smacks the wolf with a broom and the wolf runs off. The owner scolds the kitten for running away. The kitty learns her lesson and the owner and her share some warm milk the end. It's my favourite because of the kitty. Reminded me of myself. Miss tally wasn't married and she was 72 her husband had died 10 years ago of a heart attack.  She is the only other one who knows about my dad and I's secret. I stop by her place ever day with her cup of coffee and my warm milk. I love warm milk. She will read me Kitty Mae and tell me story's about her husband and son. I haven't told Mason about her yet. I have told her about mason.
