Chapter 25

The next day I was super excited for sky to come over. She was flying in tonight. Mason and her got along well considering they are siblings. Well siblings that have only talked to each other over the phone. It was 8 and Mason had taken a shower the night before. He was asleep still and I was brushing my teeth. I heard him get up in the other room. I walked out of the bathroom with my tooth brush in my hand," morning, kitty." He smiled at me," I'm glad I get to wake up to you beautiful face everyday." I blushed as he grabbed my hand. I laughed because he was blushing too.  " Mason," he looked at me," yes." I smiled,"can we go to the garden today." He did a sad smile," you know I can't, I have work today." I looked at him with a sneaky look. "I could ask my dad for you to have the day off." He shook his head," no, you dad wouldn't let me off." " if I asked nicely he would." He laughed," I know I would." He kissed me. 

I skipped up to my dads office," daddy, how are you today." He looked up," what do you want." I tilted my head," what makes you think I want something." He smiled," because you asked me how I was." "Ok fine can Mason have the day off." He thought about it," why."  "Because I love you." He rolled his eyes." Fine." I ran over and hugged him," thank you daddy."
I hurried back down stairs to tell Mason before he went back to work. "Mason, your off work for the rest of the day." I hugged him," you want to go to the gardens,
now." I nodded," yes." I started to walk out the door when Mason said," you go on ahead I'll catch up." I started walking as Mason grabbed something from the drawer and stuffed it and his pocket. He ran up behind me as I turned the corner. We walked out into the sunlit gardens. It was almost fall so some of the leaves were already off the trees and bushes. "Mason its so pretty out here today." He nodded," just because your out here." I laughed," you pick up lines are lame better be glad you cute." He laughed as well. Then his face went serious," Molly I have wanted to do this for a while, I love you." I looked at him," Mason, I love you too." He got down on his knee. "Molly." My eyes widened," will you marry me." I smiled got super big. I reached down and hugged him," Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Mason I love you." He picked me up and spun me around. I kissed him. Tears begun to well up in my eyes.

As we headed back inside with my ring on my finger. It was rose gold with a twisted diamond pattern on the sides. In the middle there was a 5 carat diamond shining in the light. "Mason its beautiful how did you afford this." Still admiring my ring Mason said," well I had to get my mom to pitch in a little but I had been saving up for something but this was more important." I tilted my head," what were you saving up for." He shrugged," it's nothing." I giggled in happiness," I'm so happy I love it, how did you know my ring size." He laughed," you were talking about it the other day with my mom." I smiled," oh right."

We went back in the room I fell asleep and Mason stayed up watching tv. I had a dream about Mason proposing to me. It was wonderful I remember every second of it.
