Chapter 2

We have been dating for about a year now and have gotten to know each other well. Someone found out about me and my dad. They came after me. I hid under the bathroom sink. One found me. I was trained in martial arts—it was one of the class I took with my dad—so I fought him off enough to get away. I was scared so my eyes turned black. I went to mason. His room was in the lower floor. He is a waiter at the hotel. He let me in I looked at him right in the eyes. He didn't flinch. I was to scared to realise. He locked the door. I sat on his bed whimpering. He sat next to me hugging my dad called me. I answered it, "Daddy, are you ok." I sniffled before he said,"yes sweetie I'm fine where are you." I looked at mason and told my dad where I was. He seemed shocked but was more worried about the men after me. He said the police were on their way and he hesitated. Then he told me to stay where I was. I squeezed Mason's hand. He put his chin on my head as I leaned back into him.

Suddenly someone banged on our door. The door started to unlock. I shook. Mason squeeze my hand tighter. Then the door swung open. My dad stepped in. He is very intimidating. I felt Mason shake. My dad looked shocked he grabbed my arm and pulled me in to the hall.  He yelled," what are you doing with that waiter boy." I looked at him hot tears welling up in my eyes. "I...I love him dad please don't put me back in your office." He looked surprised. "I won't put you back in the office and I won't make you brake up with him I'm just disappointed." I went to say something and stopped. He nodded at me and walked away.
