He woke up to the same yelling of his bestfriend and another thousand ring on his doorbell. "Freaking hell." He muttered while getting up to open the door for his bestfriend.
As soon as the lock clicked, Ian ran inside and plopped down on the couch. Leo didn't care because it was always like that. His bestfriend being the alarm clock for him.
"Go shower already." Ian shouted but Leo was already inside the bathroom.
Shower was just relaxing to anyone, but to Leo it felt like heaven. It was alone time when you can think of everything that you have to do. He closed his eyes and just let the water flow over his body. He got out of the shower and wore his clothes and they got to school. Same thing over and over again. They got to his motorcycle and got to school.College was hell indeed he thought, it was full of monsters with friendly faces, but sometimes you'll meet angels hidden in broken souls.
"Leo!" Ian shouted at the top of his lungs when he saw his bestfriend at the schoolgates waiting, they were up for a party later and Ian is jumping around in excitement.
"What are you going to wear later?" Ian asked.
"Whatever I can find in my closet." Leo answered.
"What did I even expect from you dimwit." Ian teased.
"Unlimited stash of college girls with daddy issues my brother." Leo said.
And they bursted out into laughter with their hands in their stomach.Later that night, when they were dressing up for the party, Leo protested on going because he hates people, specially crowds. But he wouldn't leave his bestfriend puking at a plantpot completely shitfaced, who knows what could happen next.
"Can we just play video games, Ian? Just please?" Leo voiced out.
"No. Just no. Dude are you even serious right now? Mayday Parade is in the house and you want to play video games?" Ian asked a little annoyed.
"You know what? You can go alone." Leo said while walking towards his bed.
Ian sighed because he knows that Leo hates crowds, but just this once, can't he endure it for his bestfriend?
"You can go now Ian, I'm not coming." Leo stated turning on his bed. He knows he's being annoying but what can he do when crowds are just a big no.
"Leo, please? Come on!" Ian jumped around and tried to drag Leo out of the bed.
"You know I don't do crowds Ian." Leo countered.
"Just this once, please." Ian pleaded with his big doe eyes turning into somewhat like a puppy's. And there goes video game time for Leo, with a sigh he stood up and glared at Ian before saying "Fine. But you owe me one." and Ian already knows what that means. It means hours of listening to Leo blabbering something about texture and patterns. But it's fine, because he gets to see his favorite band.Leo and Ian arrived at the venue half an hour earlier. Leo was wearing a black tee with denim pants and sneakers while Ian wore a white tank top with ripped jeans and sneakers.
"Leo, come on buddy, what's wrong?" Ian asked.
"Nothing, just enjoying the best day of my life." Leo replied sarcastically.
"I'll grab a few beers for you, I'll be back!" Ian said as he pushed his way through the crowds.
"Ugh, I hate this." Leo muttered under his breath.Leo was all alone at a corner trying to look for an escape which is almost impossible until he meets someone. Someone familiar. Someone he already ate with.
"Hi!" Shiela chirped.
"Hey." Leo answered and he can already sense the air filling with awkwardness.
"Fancy meeting you here." She said.
"Yeah, not quite getting the hype though." He said, voice filled with honesty.
"Yeah same, wait what? Didn't you come here because..." Shiela trailed off.
"Because I was dragged by my bestfriend." He finished.
"Ian also told me to come and meet him here, that brat." She said.
The two stared anywhere their eyes can wander until they heard a loud bang coming from the dancefloor. It was Ian.
