Chapter 6 : Destroyed

Ian stopped crying and returned to small sobs that escaped his lips once in a while.
Ian looked up at Leo and Leo gave him a smile that could replace the sun by how bright it is. Ian just hugged him tighter until his limbs felt relaxed and he can breath normally again.
"Leo, thanks for-"
Leo's phone rings. It was Shiela. But Leo didn't mind the caller and put his phone back to his pocket and shrugged it off. But Ian didn't buy it.
"What's going on with you and Shiela?" he said a little smirk on his lips
"Nothing, we just kind of made out at her-"
"What? You and Shiela? Made out?" Ian asked a little shocked but mostly amused.
"Yeah, but she was the one who initiated and I pushed her off, you have no idea dude. She just jumped on me in front of her apartment. She basically tried to kiss me and all that." Leo said in an amused tone and looked at Ian for a smile. But no. Ian's face had pure fear. Ian started to shake and tears started to flow to his eyes. Leo grabbed Ian by his wrist and pulled him back to an embrace.
"No, Ian, I don't like Shiela. If you like her, she's yours no problem about that dude, chill." Leo said but Ian continued to shake so violently and tears started staining Leo's shirt.
"I-It's not that L-Leo." Ian tried to say after every loud sob.
"I-I felt the s-same thing." Ian continued wiping tears but was replace by new ones quickly.
"Huh? Leo was confused.
"I-I was r-raped." Ian suddenly started crying really loud and Leo had no idea what to say or what to do. Ian got what? Who would do that to Ian? Why Ian of all people, he's a guy!
"Shh. It's okay bro, everything's fine. I'm with you, nobody's going to hurt you as long as you're with me." Leo softly said to Ian but with a declaring tone.
Leo helped Ian stand as they walked to the bed. He helped Ian get under the covers and held him so tight. Ian continued to sob on Leo's shoulder with Leo saying empowering and dignified words of protection to his bestfriend. They laid there until Ian relaxed and fell asleep.
And that was the time Leo started crying softly. He will know who did this. He will know who broke his bestfriend. He will know-
Leo's phone vibrated and he searched it on his pockets. Shiela it read. What's up with Shiela today?
He still didn't answer the text though, his bestfriend is much more important.
He puts his phone on the cabinet beside the bed and relaxed a bit.
He felt exhaustion creep up in his bones and felt sleepy. He fell asleep thinking what would happen tomorrow.

Leo was woken up with sounds of screaming that he cannot understand. Legs kicking him and pushing him off the bed. He has no idea what was happening. He looked over the bed and saw Ian screaming and pushing what looks like is a person on top of him made of air.
"No! Please! Stop! Please just leave me alone!" Ian shouted.
Leo quickly climbed on the bed and shook Ian so hard that he suddenly stopped and woke up. There were tears in his eyes and he was still shaking.
"Ian, you're fine. I'm here. No one else is with you, only me." Leo tried to calm him down.
"I'm sorry." Ian bowed his head down and embraced Leo.
"It's fine, it's fine." Leo tried to assure him.
"It's just- There was this- Everything was just-" Ian sobbed after every word but still tried to speak.
"It's okay Ian, really."
After Ian composed himself, he looked at Leo to look how his bestfriend would react, and he wasn't disappointed. Leo smiled at him and spoke up.
"You can tell me if you want to. If you're okay with me knowing." Leo reassured him.
And Ian tried to calm down to tell Leo what happened to him the day he went missing to his bestfriend's life.
"I left the opposite direction y-you left with Shiela." He said. Leo nodded to let him continue.
"A-and I got into a convenience store to buy a drink because I was thirsty." Ian said.
"Then I sat at a bench and there was this man..." He trailed off and tears continue to roll down his cheeks.
"H-He offered me a bread, but I didn't think it was drugged because he also took a bite at one of it so I ate it." Ian continued.
"Then suddenly I blacked out." Ian's breaths was getting shallower.
"I-I just woke up to the same guy on top of me, we were in a bed and he was-" Ian cried harder.
"H-He was undressing me and I just felt something poke me and his hands were on my neck and it just feels so disgusting, I can't breath, he was strangling me and I just couldn't move because of-I don't know. The drug I guess." Ian couldn't continue and Leo feels so bad for him.
They stayed like that for awhile until Leo speaks again.
"It's okay dude, I get it and don't worry. I'm still here for you, don't you ever feel disgusted or ashamed because I am still your bestfriend no matter what." Leo said and Ian felt himself relax a bit and his breathing became even.
Leo held him until Ian spoke.
"Let's sleep, we have guests tomorrow."
"Who?" Leo asked.
"My family are coming here for Christmas Eve, and you're coming over to celebrate with us." Ian said with a small smile.
"Yeah, that would be nice." Leo said.
He knows his parents couldn't come because of their busy schedules so he often celebrates it with Ian. Ian had a loving mom, a loving dad, and an annoying sister named Risa. Risa is also popular like Ian but she's more like Leo. She doesn't like people but everybody likes her. She's hot, popular, cute, funny, all at the same time. The dream girl of every man.
They both fell asleep from all the things that happened that day. They were too exhausted to even talk about what they would prepare, but Ian got it all planned weeks before so there was no problem.
Silence enveloping the dark room with a pleasing and calming atmosphere. Too much sadness. Too much problems. Two small souls. One big world.
