NOT PROOFREAD
One week later
"Millie, Millie please open up. Just come outside for a bit!" Yelled Sadie.
"This is all my fault, this is all my fault if I didn't invite her to that stupid party this would've never happened!" I shouted in frustration. A lot has happened since that, stupid party. Let's skip back to that night.
THE NIGHT OF THE PARTY
Millie must've had some sort of spiked drink without knowing because for the rest of the party she was extremely hammered. I also had been drunk too, but not drunk enough to realize that she had to go back to her cabin before any trouble. Everyone out of our friend group had left except for Caleb and Dafne, and Caleb was almost as drunk as Millie. Dafne on the other hand, didn't have an ounce of alcohol in her so I immediately asked her to help me bring Millie back. It was an enough struggle to convince her to bring her home, but then it got even worse. Right then, Iris and her posse of girls come walking over to us three.
"Well well well, a bit too much of alcohol I see?"
"Get away Iris, I'm trying to bring her back home," I murmured.
"But I waaaant to stayyy!" Drunk Millie whined.
"Seems like she wants to stay, Finnie," Iris replied back with a fake smile. I look up at her dead in the eye and replied,
"Don't. Call. Me. That. Now let me pass before I go around."
"Oooh, scary. I'll let you and your drunk girlfriend go screw each other, if that's what you want." She gave a repulsive laugh and my blood started to boil. Before I could do anything Dafne reached her arm out and stopped me from coming close to Iris. So I ignored her and walked away with Millie's arm resting on my shoulder while her other on Dafne's. At the last second, Iris tripped my foot which made me fall and Millie land on top of me colliding heads. Millie immediately got up and screamed in frustration.
"FINN, MY DRESSSSS! Why do you always have to suck the fun out of everything!!!" She got up and wiped her dress.
"Millie I am so sor-"
"Cut it Finn! I don't want to hear any of your bullshit, just go make out with someone else and leave me alone!"
"Poor girl, need a little help?" Iris replied as she dumped her drink all over her clothes. Millie's eyes welt up with tears and sprinted to her cabin with everyone laughing at her and Dafne following after her. I can't believe she just said that. I know it's just the alcohol talking, but is this how she really feels? Have I been wrong about her this whole time? I looked Iris dead in the eyes and got up.
"What did she ever do to you. She's such an innocent girl!" I was basically screaming now, not even caring if she saw me break down.
"Exactly, she's been spending sooo much time with you, that you've forgotten about you first friend," Iris spat at me. I was extremely furious now, blame everything on me, when she started this mess?
"Don't you dare say that. You forgot about me YEARS ago."
"That's not true," she grabbed my shoulder, "You were just at the back of my mind." I pushed away her hand and started backing away.
"Don't come find me, I know you don't want to anyways," I spoke flatly. As I turned around to find Caleb, a plastic cup filled with liquid hit the back of my head.
"See ya, puppysoft." Was the last thing I heard from Iris Apatow.
END OF FLASHBACK
"Millie come on, please?" We were all basically begging her now. I haven't seen that beautiful face in a week, I've missed it dearly.
"It's better if I stay in here! None of you will get hurt and I'll be out of the way!" I could tell that she was crying. "Maybe I should just go home." That's when the entire world stopped. Millie, go home? I can't let her do this! We live so far away, I won't be able to see her!
"Millie, let's think about this before you start jumping to conclusions," Noah replied calmly.
"Yeah, we all love you and would miss you so much!" Grace added. At this point I was in the verge of tears. I can't let her slip away, she's all I have. I got right up to the door and rested my hand on it.
"Millie, I don't care what you say but I'm coming in," I said as I kicked the door down. Everyone gasped as the door flew open and saw a distressed Millie. It looked like she hadn't had a shower in days, her hair was a mess and her cheeks were stained with tears. Tears streaming down my face I immediately ran over to her and hugged her as tight as possible.
"I missed you so much," I sobbed into her shoulder.
"Me too, but I have to go," she whispered into my chest.
"If you really want to, I won't stop you. I respect your decisions. But just to let you know, I'll never forget you, okay?"
"Okay. Finn?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
"I uh, I love you too."
I think we stood there for at least twenty minutes.
