I'm going to backtrack to when Millie kissed Finn in the truth or dare game. Then after that it will go back to normal. Enjoy my chapter!
When Gaten said my dare, I immediately knew who I was kissing. Finn. Without any thought, I leaned over and pressed my lips against his. I could feel electricity run through my body. I've never felt anything like that before. Probably because I've never had my first kiss yet. It was going pretty well, until I felt Finn start to kiss back. I panicked and pulled away from the kiss. I felt my face burn up and Finn's was also. But it looked like he was in shock, the guys noticed and they pulled him away to talk to him. When the four left, Sadie, Grace, and Dafne came closer to me with wide eyes and surprised expressions.
"You kissed Finn?!" Sadie cried.
"Did you like it?" Dafne asked.
"Did he kiss back?" Grace also asked. My head was full of questions also, but I knew I couldn't answer those ones yet.
"I'm still hazy on the experience as well, give me a minute," I replied. They gasped and let out a big squeal.
"You're HAZY?!" Sadie cried.
"Are you in LOVE?!" Grace shouted.
"Can I be a bridesmaid?" Dafne giggled. Was I in love with Finn? Does he like me? Does he not have feelings for me? Is that why he looked shocked? While I was getting lost in my own brain, the whole time Sadie was shouting my name like a banshee trying to get my attention.
"Millie, Millie, MILLIE YOU THERE?!"
"Yes yes I'm here! What's up?" I said snapping back to reality.
"What's up? What's up?! YOU KISSED FINN!" Sadie screamed again.
"Keep IT down! I think CHINA heard you!" I yelled at her. Grace and Dafne giggled and Sadie sighed.
"But do you like him?" Dafne asked cautiously.
"Well, yeah, I think," I replied.
"Okay, you obviously love him, so you're going to tell him," Sadie said.
"What?! No! I barely know the guy!" I said. She is really starting to get on my nerves. She ran to her backpack and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen. She handed them to me and said,
"What would you desperately want to do with Finn?"
"Well, earlier he was talking about how pretty the sunsets are by the lake, so maybe I'd like to see one with him," I replied.
"That's perfect! Ask him to meet you at the lake tomorrow at sundown, and you guys can confess your love to each other!" Sadie squealed. The other girls nodded their heads as if they thought that was a good idea.
"Okay, I'm not confessing my LOVE for him, yet, first I want to get to know him. But I think the lake thing is a good idea, to chat and stuff," I mumbled.
I grabbed the pen and wrote the note. It read,
Finn,
Meet me at the lake at sunset. Don't tell anyone.
-Millie.Sadie read it over and approved, then tucked it in the covers. Just as she took her hand out of Finn's bed, the guys walk back over and she asked,
"What were you guys talking about?"
"What were YOU talking about?" Caleb snapped back.
"Nothing," Sadie mumbled.
"Same here," Caleb said with a smirk. They all sat down again and we all pretended that nothing ever happened. We didn't mention the kiss at all, just completely ignored it for the rest of the night.
An hour goes by and the sun was setting. The girls and I left the guy's cabin, and got ready to go to bed.
"You excited for tomorrow?" Dafne asked while brushing her hair.
"I guess," I mumbled while blushing.
"Liar!" Sadie screamed from the top of her lungs. I threw her pillow at her face and blocked the other one that she attempted to throw at me. Every broke into a pillow fight (what every girl does lmao) until we were so tired, and crashed into bed.
By time it was 11:00pm, the girls were knocked out, except me. I was wide awake, thinking about how this, "date" is going to turn out.
Will it make our friendship better?
Will it ruin it?
Is he going to come?
Will he tell the other guys?
All of those thoughts fly in and out of my head, but I just ignore them and try to fall asleep.
"Millie? I know you're awake," someone whispered across the room.
"Sadie? Is that you?" I whispered back.
"Yep. I know you're thinking about tomorrow, don't worry, it'll be great," she said.
"Thanks Sads, I'm really nervous." I blushed. Luckily, Sadie couldn't see my red face because all the lights were turned off.
"Don't be! You're going to have fun," she replied.
"I trust you," I giggled, "Goodnight."
"Goodnight Millie. Sweet dreams," she chuckled and fell back asleep. I smiled to myself and pulled the covers over my head.
First day, done. Sixty seven more to go.
OMG so sorry this chapter was so short, it was just a different point of view from that night, so that's why it's so short. I promise more chapters to come, love and light.💖
