It's chapter eleven triggereddd

"Hi."

"Hey."

She gave a quick smile and sat down beside me. I was still so stunned by Millie's outfit, more like Millie in general, I couldn't stop staring which was starting to freak her out.

"You okay?" I snapped out of my trance and stared into her eyes.

"Hm? Yeah, I'm fine. Maybe just a bit nervous," I said in a rush. I still don't understand why she asked to meet me here, and I kinda want an answer. Before I was able to speak, Millie cut in,

"The sunsets are really pretty here."

"Second most beautiful thing I've ever seen," I replied. Shit, now she'll want to know what the first is. Which without a doubt, is her.

"What's the first?"

"Oh I don't know, I only just learned to realize how beautiful you- it truly is," Shit shit shit I said you oh my god. My life, is ruined. My stupid awkward self blurted out you. Wow. Nice job Finn. She started staring at me with glaring eyes, like as if I told her I was going off to war. She finally cleared her throat and said,

"W-what did you say? You, you think I'm beautiful?" Suddenly I felt my hands start to sweat and the air start to boil. My clothes were sticking to my skin and my stomach was turning inside out. I could feel my mouth go dry and I lost my voice to speak. What do I say? Should I lie or tell the truth?

"Millie, I need to ask you something. When I first saw you on the bus, did you feel something? Like a bolt of lightning, running down your spine multiple times? Did you ever feel nervous talking to me, thinking you'll mess something up between us? Did you ever," I paused. "Did you ever feel like a zoo was stampeding in your stomach every time you talked or even looked at me? I know for a fact I did, even for the two days I've known you. For some reason, I have this feeling about you and I don't want to leave you. Ever." Holy Jesus did I just say all of that? I could feel my body tense when she started to open her mouth to say something.

"I, Finn, I," she paused for a while.

"Yes?" I eagerly asked.

"I, feel the same way. When I first caught you staring into my eyes, I felt a connection. A feeling, like I needed to stay close to you. I've never felt this way for a guy before. Heck, you were my first kiss," she trailed off.

"I was your first kiss?"

"And my second." She leaned up to me and softly placed her lips onto mine. At first I was shocked, then I started to kiss back. She was hesitant, but slowly loosened up. It didn't last long, probably ten seconds, but it was the best ten seconds of my life. I've kissed a girl before, but I've never felt emotions for someone like her. She pulled away first, both of us out of breath. I smiled awkwardly, then she blushed and smiled back.

"So, what are we?" I asked.

"Humans?" She giggled. I chucked also. Then she spoke up,

"According to me, I would think you would be my, boyfriend."

"Are you sure you want to do this? We've barely known each other for two days," I mumbled. She looked at me with wide eyes and smiled.

"I feel like I've known you for my whole life, I'm sure." We both smiled and gave another light peck on the lips. Then we turned back to the sunset, which was almost gone now, and just stared at its beauty. Millie rested her head on my shoulder. We watched as the sun came down, and the moon and stars rose. The earth was such strange thing, everything happened for a reason. So maybe Millie and I were meant together. But it could also just be, a summer fling.
