Olivia's POV:
"Just couldn't get enough of me, eh?" He said with his signature smirk plastered on his arrogant, yet very attractive, face. I rolled my eyes at him and returned my attention to Mrs. Gail, who was now teaching us some stupid Latin term, even though she's a biology teacher. I pretended to listen to her for the rest of the class period, finally being saved by the bell. I hurried and collected my things and left the classroom as quickly as possible. But, as always, my best wasn't good enough because I was stopped by the one and only, Luke.
"What do you want?" I spat at him. He hadn't really done anything to me, but he was getting on my nerves already.
"Feisty. I like it." He said giving me a smug grin. I rolled my eyes for what felt like the 10th time today.
"Well, could you get out of my way? I'm trying to get to..." I trailed off as I pulled out my schedule to see what I had next. "... math." I said finally. I looked up to see him already looking at me.
"I just happen to be in that class, too." He said walking away. I stood there, confused. Feet glued to the ground. At first he didn't want to let me leave, now he's leaving me? I was never the smartest kid in the class, but I wasn't the dumbest, either, and it wasn't often that I got confused.
"Well, are you coming?" He called out to me. I didn't know what to do, so I sighed and walked towards him. When I reached him, we exchanged no words and silently made our way to math. We got there, once again late, and walked in. Luke walked to the back of the classroom and took his seat, while I walked to the teachers desk and saw a man in his 40's. I gave him a wide, but fake, smile.
"Hi, I'm Olivia Newton, transfer student from America." I said while handing him my time table.
"Ahh yes. Ms. Newton. I've been excpecting you. I'm Mr. LucdaleHow are you liking Austailia?" He asked.
"Well, I just got here about a month ago, but I think that it's nice so far .Thank you for asking." I told.
"Okay, well Ms. Newton, you can take a seat next to Mr. Dunkin. Charlie, raise your hand so Olivia will know who you are. " He called to someone in the small classroom. A boy a little older than me raised his hand. What am I saying, everyone's older than me. In America, I skipped grades 2 and 3, so instead of being 17 in the 11th grade, I was 15. I was about to go sit by Charlie, when I heard someone scream "no." It confused me until I saw who it was. I turned around to see Luke standing up and looking at me. I gave him a confused look, and so did everyone else in the class.
"No?" Mr.Lucdale asked him.
"She's mine. She sit's by me." Luke said calmly as he sat down. I rolled my eyes but sat in the empty desk next to him anyway. Mr.Lucdale taught class and as much as I tried paying attention, my mind kept wandering back to Luke. I hadn't known him for very long, but I could already tell that he had a bad reputation. He was obviously the school's badass and was probably considered a loner, so why was he acting like this?
The rest of the day went by pretty quickly. I had two more classes with Luke and my last one with Beau. I realized that she was pretty popular whenever I walked into the classroom to see her sitting in a seat in the middle of the class surrounded by a bunch of girls and boys. She was even dressed like one of those preppy hipster girls that you would see on T.V. She was wearing a light pink mini dress with a brown belt around the waist and a white lace bow in her wavy blonde hair. She had on a pair of flower earrings and light pink Vans to go with it. Atleast I knew that she wasn't as preppy as everyone thought she was.
I didn't say anything to her as I made my way to the back of the classroom and took a seat in the back of the class. I had already given my time table to the teacher so I had nothing else to worry about. Beau turned around and gave me a small wave and a smile. I gave her a fake smile and waved back before puting my head down and staring at the desk for the rest of the class.
****
After class was finished, I walked to my locker, not bothering to talk to Beau, considering that we lived together and there was no need to. I opened my locker, shoved in my books and grabbed my skateboard. I walked outiside and looked in the sky to notice the dark colored clouds. That means rain. I can't skateboard in the rain... shit. I looked in the parking lot and saw Beau's car still parked there. I pulled out my phone to text Beau.
To: Beau(:
Hey Beau. It's Olivia. Sorry for the short notice, but can I ride home with you? It's about to rain and I only have my skateboard. From: Beau(:
Yeah, just hurry. I have to be at work in an hour.I didn't even reply, I nearly ran to the car, knocking someone down in the process. I stopped and helped the person up, to realize that it was a boy. A very attractive boy, at that. I smiled at him.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to knock you down, but I'm sort of in a hurry." I said, rushing my explanation. He smiled at me.
"It's alright. Hey, aren't you Luke's girl?" He asked me. I groaned at the mention of Luke.
"No, I am most definetly NOT Luke's girl. I am my own girl." I told the brown eyed, brown haired boy.
"Well, not Luke's girl, I'm Calum." He told me. I smiled at him.
"Hi Calum, I'm Olivia. Nice to meet you, but I really gotta run." I told him.
"Alright, bye Olivia. It was nice meetin' ya!" He said smiling. I nodded and ran to Beau's car. I got there and hopped in.
"Dang Olivia, what took so long?" She asked, driving off. I smiled.
"I made a friend!" I defended myself.
"Oooh. Tell me about this friend!"
"Well, he's pretty hot." I said.-
