Olivia's POV:

Calum and I walked to his car in silence. I was so confused but I felt calm, honestly. Wherever we were going I could tell was improtant because Calum doesn't seem like the kind of guy to rush out of a, well, date. When we got to the car, I got in without a word, but I wondered where he was taking me to. Like he was reading my mind, he said
"My friend Michael told me that he needs to talk to me and that it's important apparently. He said that it's urgent." While talking he buckled his seat belt and started the engine. I had already put mine on.
"Oh okay. I just have to text my cousin. She would be worried sick if I didn't." I said, pulling out my phone and sending a quick text to Beau. I kept it simple: "I'm going out with my friend I might not come home tonight? I love you."
I didn't wait for a reply before I turned off the phone. I looked over at Calum and stared at him as he drove his car(which was a black MY15 Colorado LS 4x4 Crew Cab Pickup) to the his friends house.

"Hey, Cal. What is your friends name?" I ask after about 15 minutes of driving down the road. He looked over ate fore just a minute before averting his eyes to the road again.

"His name is Michael. We're about to be here now. Don't worry about your outfit, you look cute." He said to me. I hadn't even realized that I was still wearing my pajamas and socks until he said something. I feel really uncomfortable now. I probably look 10 with my pajamas on and my cheeks red. Atleast it's dark outside so Calum can't see my face.

Before I could say anything we pulled up in front of a large apartment complex and Calum looked at me again. "This is it. Let's go in." He said while getting out. He walked over to my side of the car and opened the car, letting me out and grabbing my hand. My insides fluttered at the action.

We walked into the doors and walked over to the elevator. We got into the elevator Calum pushed the button for the fourth flloor. He started talking without looking at me.

"When we get here, if I leave you alone for any reason, just know that it isn't because I want to, it's because something serious might be going on and I don't know what to do. I'll come back for you, though, Liv. I'll always come back to you." He said. I could hear the sincerity and worry in his voice. His eyes were red and on the brink of tears, and I knew htat if he cried, I would cry. I leaned over and wrapped my arms around him, pulling him into a tight embrace. He blinked away his tears very quickly and hugged me back. I looked at his face and saw him smiling. His eyes were bright and crinkled and he looked genuinely happy. The sight made me happy, so I smiled too.

We stood there for what felt like hours. In reality. though, it was only a few minutes. When we stopped hugging, the elevator stopped too. When it opened, we walked out hand in hand. I had no idea where we were going, but I was content with just being with Calum. I didn't want him to be worried about his friend. It would all be okay in the end.

We walked to a door and Calum knocked on it softly. Someone opened the door. I looked him up and down. He had dyed red hiar and he was tall. Pretty athletic looking. He had stubble on his chin and a worried expression on his face. His arms were covered in tattoos and he had a black eyebrow piercing and black snakebites. He was overall pretty attractive. He looked at Calum and then looked at me, slowly looking up and down.

"Who is this pretty lady, Cal?" He asked Calum. Calum smilde a wide smile while looking down at me and then our joined hands.
"This is Olivia." He said simply.
"Holy fuck dude. Luke's girl Olivia?" Michael asked Calum. I felt Calum shudder. He looked repulsed as he shook his head.
"Fuck Luke. She doesn't like Luke. She is her own girl. No one owns her." He said, disgusted with the thought of me liking Luke. I chuckled, but still made no noise.
"That's actually what I want to talk to you about. Luke told Ashton that  you were seen with-" He stopped talking abruptly and looked at me.
"Hi, Olivia, I'm Michael. Why don't you go inside, yeah. Make yourself at home." He said. I looked at Calum for reassurance and he nodded his head. Without another word I walked inside and shut the door behind me. I tried to listen to what they were saying, but all I heard were muffled voices. I heard breathing so I turned around and saw two people in the living room. One girl and one boy.

The boy had honey brown hair and hazel eyes. I had never seen him before, so I assumed that he didn't go to school. I could also tell by his multiple tattoos and piercings that he didn't take shit from anyone. He winked at me. I must have been staring.
