"What's your story"

I was so confused. I didn't understand why she ignored me. I just wanted to know her. Ugh. I need to get her off my mind! After I get ready for work I head out the door. I lock my apartment, mentally sighing that I have to go to hell. I hear footsteps, familiar footsteps. I turn my head and I instantly make eye contact with her. My eyes instantly light up. She slowly stops walking, awkwardly.

"Hey Sadie" I say I smile at her. She glances at me but doesn't make proper eye contact "hey sorry about last night" she says, it sounding kind of forced, but I'll accept it. "Well for me to accept your apology I'll have to take you for coffee" I know it's a pretty bold move but I just wanna get to know her.

She looks at me uncertainly. She huffs a little "ok" she says. We walk in silence to the coffee shop.

<skip to when they have the coffee cause I'm fucking lazy>

We sit there coffee in hand staring at each other, it gets awkward after awhile  so I speak up. "So Sadie tell me your story" I say instantly, her head shoots up. "Well... I'm 21 I used to live in Texas, I moved to New York 3 years ago and I have a girlfriend" she says that last part very quietly. I my heart instantly breaks. I wanted to sit and cry but then again I wanted to get who ever she was dating and kill them.

I smile, the fakest smile ever.

(A/n: see this is what happens when you have literally nothing to do at home so you update 4 chapters in one day 🤦🏽‍♀️ this chapter sucks but it was mostly just to point out that Sadie has a girlfriend)
