If only I had knew what I was getting myself in. I mean I needed medicine. I was sick I ain't gon lie but I didnt think it was him.....

My alarm went off. I groan. It is summer break so it is probably around 3 in the afternoon. I check my phone...
Stoke💩: Aye sis my vro back in town
Lia: Who?
Stoke💩: Jahseh I was telling u bout
Lia: Awe, well congrats I guess
Stoke💩: I mean aint you happy???
Lia: Yeah I am real "stoked"
Stoke💩: Shut up, we gon go eat ima pick u up at 5

I lock my phone. Since no one was here im gon run around naked. Just playing. I live with my mom. She on a 2 week long business trip so....My house now. After I take a shower and dry my hair it is 3:30. I decide on wearing a ponytail and my Nike outfit.

After posing in the mirror like snack. I just put on some lip gloss, mascara and do my eyebrows. Since it is 4:45 I watch Spongebob till Stokeley come. I hear a honk and grab my phone and walk out. Stoke is in his nice car today trying to impress the girls I guess.

As I walk closer and closer I see a guy with half blond half black dreads. He has multiple tattoos on his face. He gets out and sits in the backseat. I sit in passenger and Ski starts to drive. Ski and Stoke are the same person btw. "So, lia you lookin like a snack today" Ski says sounding like my other bestfriend, Sidney. I laugh "Yep, you looking a little thick Stokes" I say. He rolls his eyes and keeps driving. I scroll through my insta.

I like the post and dm her sister, Rebecca cute photo. "Who you texting" Ski asks snatching my phone. "Give, it back Stokes" I whine. He throws it to Jahseh and he catches it. He doesn't even bother looking at it and hands it back to me.

"Thanks, finally someone with a brain" I say eyeballing Ski. Jahseh just nods "No, problem". I continue what I was doing as Ski pulls me to lean in on his shoulder. I swear this dude is bipolar sometimes. When we walk in the Chinese restruant  I put up my phone and Ski grabs my hand. Were not dating but like each other. We talk and laugh but he has never asked me out so... Jahseh looks at him holding my hand and quickly looks away when we meet eye contact. He holds me by the waist and says " table for 4". I look at him and he mouthes "Coolie". I pout Coolie is so annoying always calling me (A-lee-yuh) when it is (A-lee-ah). We get seated and I catch both Jahseh and Ski staring.
" Wtf yall lookin at?" I ask. Jahseh laughs and says nothing. Ski grabs my hand and pulls me to the buffet. A lot of people ask me what I see in Stokes but he is fine if you ask me. And nice, and funny.

I had convinced him to not wear a du-rag so that is good. "Lia, can I ask you something?" he asks. "Hmm" I say breaking out of my trance. "Do you think about me?" he says. "Of course Stokey" I say in a baby voice. He gives me a bear hug and we get stuff to eat. Coolie shows up and the torture begins. On our way back to my house. Ski walks me to my door. But before we get out "Bye Jah, welcome back" I say waving. "Aiight bye, Auhlia nice meeting you" he said back waving. Ski and me walk hand and hand to my door. "This is your stop" he says. "Yep, Stokey" I say poking his cheek. I stand on my tiptoes to kiss his cheek and he moves his head so I catch his lips. He holds me onto him. And I cup his face to mine. Then HONK Jahseh hits the horn. "Come on" he yells. "Bye Li" "Bye, Stokeley" we both say.
