Chapter 1 The unknown

Its the day we all have been looking forward to.The company is sending me and my sister Chara and my goofy brother Asriel to this showcase. By the way my name is Frisk. Dreemur Inc. is the company my parents founded to help aspiring dancers to find work. Obviously I am a dancer hehe. But anyway we are driving to the showcase thats taking place in the city of New hope. Smack dap in the middle of the city is this giant amphitheater that I have dreamed of preforming it.The lights call to my soul and I always loose myself to the music. I knew the reason for the profomance. It was to advertise the company as well promote the new dancers not to mention promote the goodwill between humans and monsters. Hopefully this goes as well as my parents it does. Just then I felt tapping on my shoulder."Frisk? Earth to Frisk? STOP DAYDREAMING WE'RE ALMOST THERE!!!" My older sister yelled the last part practically in my ear. I turn to her a big smile that i just couldn't seem to get rid of plastered on my face. "Chara... how many times do i have to say this... STOP YELLING IN MY DAMN EAR!!!!" I smiled sweetly to her knowing that would get on her nerves.

I chuckle to myself as i stare out the window. Mom placed the car in park and rushed us out of the car to our changing rooms. I was just to excited for this number. It was my cheoroghy that everyone was dancing to which made this all the more special to me. My heart was pounding in nerves and anticipation for this number as i was dressing i heard someone practically shouting their glee as the passed by the door to the male dressing room next to the girls. It seemed i wasn't the only who was excited about it. "CAN YOU BELIEVE WE MADE IT IN THE COMPANY?!?!?!?!" there was a grumbled response but the voice was what caught me off guard. It was so deep and smooth like the richest chocolate it was almost intoxicating. I became curious to who it belonged to as my soul started to stretch out to the owner of that voice that i practically swung the door slamming it to the wall to be met with open air not another soul in the hallway. It seemed the went into the changing room next door. I stood there staring hoping in my heart that i would eventually hear that voice again some evidently they were also dancers.

As everyone started to fill on the stage i stood off to the side as i started to explain where everyone was going to be for the dance. Let me explain everyone was set up with their own dancing. I'm standing there shaking curiosity going insane in my head being to have everyone at least say something. Unfortunately most didn't. It was then that we moved onto where the monsters should be put so each handed me their papers explaining where they were to be put for the dance. when a very tall skeleton towered over me shaking...hopefully for excitement and not fear. As he handed me his paper he introduced himself"HELLO TINY HUMAN. I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, AM MOST EXCITED TO PREFORM ON THIS GLORIOUS STAGE!" I smiled at him gently. He seemed like someone i wanted to protect from the cruel world."Alright papyrus it seems you are going to be over here." As i walked the tall skeleton there was another watching me closely seeming to be protective of the taller one. i shrugged off the stare as i placed papyrus where to stand to get ready for the performance. as i went back to where i was originally standing and wait for the next person to step up. Hehe pun intended. I giggle to myself when someone else steps up to me they don't say anything that just watching me. " ....Well right this way you'll be over here alright?" they just nodded still watching me. As i walked off my legs seemed to itch to give a swish to my hips. I suppressed it as i walked back. the time dragged on like that with the shorter skeleton still staring at me. when all of a sudden a very intimidating fish lady walked up to me smiling brightly i directed her to her spot she turned around."The names Undyne don't forget punk!" she said it affectionately that it threw me for a second before i smirked back to her. Her smile grew bigger which i didn't even know that was possible and walked off when i almost walked into this short lizard girl she smiled weakly at me as she handed me her paper and i smiled warmly at her.'Is she really okay performing in front of so many people? is she going to be alright?' i thought to my self as i directed her to the spot i needed her at it seemed she would be one of the first few performers shown on the camera. I sent her a reassuring smile as i walked off once again. As i walked past the short skeleton still staring my soul started to flutter in my chest i had a hard time suppressing it. I looked down very confused as to what was going on with it when my hips started to swish passing by him. I blushed deeply as i made my way to the same exact spot. Just then someone came up behind me and scooped me into a tight hug lifting me off the ground. Only one person would do this, as he threw me into the air i swiveled and shot out my arms as i came flying down to awaiting arms to catch me."TON-TON!!!!" i giggled as he caught me in another tight embrace smiling down at me." I'm so proud of you!!! You finally got your shot at cheorghy!! and I have the great pleasure to dance to it along side you! See i told you that you could do it!" he squezed me as he said the last part."I just hope it goes well. It seems alot of people aren't happy to be preforming with each other. Though that tall Skeleton seems more then happy to just be performing regardless of who its with. Which makes this all worth it." i pointed him out and saw a light click on in mettatons eyes as a small blush rushes over his cheeks.I giggle that must be the one that my dear friend has been talking about these last few weeks."So he's the one..."Mettaton made a face as he knew what was coming as i pull out an empty crush soda can and squeze it."That you've been crushing on" i giggle as he rolls his eyes at me and letting an exasperated sigh." Your just as bad as sans..." i looked at him"What can i say.... i love me some punders.You keep saying that and yet I still don't know that even remotely is.... but i better ketchup to the rest of the compay before they start to squirt out tears of panic without me. I relish seeing you again ton-ton!" i giggle as i walk away as he starts to cringe. I start to finish up with the rest of the people as i start to get into my spot right behind the shorter skeleton as i get into my ready pose as the music starts i start to loose myself into it.

"We of the Dreemur Arts company wish to present this as our front and presentation as our dancers preforms as one large family. Without further ado I present to the dancing portion of the evening!" a loud applause erupts and the dance begins.

We all bowed and the end of the set. It saddened me to think almost all of the dancers i most likely wouldn't see again as the shorter skeleton to me with a wide smile huffing gave me a wink and finally spoke that almost stopped my heart and set my soul a blaze with want and need that i had never felt before." It was great dancing with you.See you around kiddo" Before i had a chance to respond i was swept away by a crowd of dancers and my family. There were congratulations and Praise's as i pushed past everyone to get back to that spot only to see that he had disappeared into the dense crowd of people as a rush of other performers got on stage as i get swiped up again and rushed off the stage. I run to the exit hoping to catch him there when i don't see him i run around to the other side to see him already sitting in a car zooming off to only heavens knows where when i spot the taller skeleton sitting in the drivers seat and hope blooms in my heart knowing that there is a chance for me to actually meet the owner of that voice again.
