Three | Hangover

DRE HAD A HEADACHE THE FOLLOWING MORNING. After the match was over, Gwen and Olivia had finally coaxed her into having a drink, which in turn led to another until Dre was piss drunk and Rowlan had to carry her all the way home.

Dre lifted her head off her pillow, and opened one eye. The sunlight was pouring into her room, making it incredibly bright. She blinked a couple of times.

She glanced at the clock. 8:45. She groaned and let her head hit the pillow again. It was way too early for her to be up. There was a knock at the door, and Rowlan stuck his head in. He looked just as tired as her. "Morning Cinderella, did you have too much fun at the ball last night?" He smirked, coming fully into her room.

"Shut. Up." Dre grumbled, pulling her blankets up over her head. Rowlan laughed.

"Come on Cinderella, rise and shine."

"No. Go away, I want to sleep." Dre whined.

"I made breakfast."

Dre pulled the cover off her head, peering over the edge. "But you stayed with me the whole night, the-"

"Are you really going to argue with me?"

Dre sighed. "No."

"Then get up. I'll be in the kitchen."

Once Rowlan was out of her room, Dre climbed out of bed and made her way into the bathroom. She grimaced as she looked in the mirror. Her makeup from the previous night was smeared all over her face, her hair was tangled. Dre huffed and started to remove the mess on her face.

Once she was finished, she stripped and climbed into the shower. She sighed as the warm water relaxed her tense muscles. She ran her fingers through her hair to try and brush all the knots out before hand. It was quite the struggle. She kept pulling out strands of her hair.

Dre turned the water off and stepped out of the shower. She dried and brushed her hair, brushed her teeth, tossed her towels in the laundry hamper and proceeded back to her room to get changed.

She slipped on a pair of sweats and an oversized hoodie before padding out into the hall.

She was just entering the kitchen when she heard Gwen laughing. She poked her head in.

Rowlan was sitting at the counter, Olivia was resting up against D.O with a cup of coffee in her hands, and Gwen was running her fingers through someone's hair. If Dre remembered correctly, it was the DJ from the club last night.

Dre made her way over to Rowlan, picked up a piece of toast off his plate and took a bite. "Well good morning to you to." He said, looking at her. Dre snorted.

"Morning Sleeping Beauty." Olivia smiled.

"It's Cinderella." Rowlan corrected.

"The fuck?" Gwen said, looking at him. "Why?"

"Apparently I had too fun at the ball last night. At least I managed to keep both my shoes." Dre joked. "Who's the mystery man in our kitchen?"

"This is Xiumin." Gwen smiled. "He's a friend of D.O's."

"Morning." Dre said, giving him a half smile.

"Morning." He replied.

"So of all the crazy girls at the club last night, why Gwen?" Dre asked, moving around the counter to stand next to Olivia. Gwen smacked her arm playfully before turning to Xiumin.

"She's joking. Dre likes to think she's funny."

"Only on days that end in y." She replied. D.O rolled his eyes.

"This is what I put up with." He told Xiumin.
"Oh come on, they're not so bad." Xiumin replied, glancing at Dre. Xiumin had to admit that Dre was absolutely stunning even if she was just in sweats and a sweater. D.O was a lucky man to be hanging around three insanely attractive women.

"Yeah D.O," Dre laughed. "You love us."

"Correction, he loves me." Olivia said, wrapping an arm around him.

"That's true." He replied, smiling to her.

"You guys are so cheesy." Rowlan said, scrunching his nose up in disgust.

"You're just jealous." Gwen teased.

"Am not."

"Are to!"

"Am not!"

"Ladies, you're both hungover, now stop fighting." Dre said, taking a sip of her coffee. "You had the chance to run Xiumin but you didn't. Now you're stuck with us."

Xiumin laughed. "It's not so bad." He told her. "However, I do have to run, as do you D.O."

He nodded.

"I'll see you later?" He said to Olivia, as he grabbed his coat.

She nodded. "Okay. Bye babe."

Xiumin and D.O exited the apartment. Dre took another sip of her coffee. "He seems nice." She said. Everyone laughed.

Dre spent the remainder of the morning in the company of her friends, before Olivia and Gwen announced that they were leaving to go grab lunch with D.O and Xiumin. And since Rowlan had a film project to finish for Wednesday this week, he had to excuse himself from Dre's company for a few hours. So she was on her own in the apartment, with a killer headache and nothing to do.

For the first two hours of being alone, Dre decided to go back to sleep, to try and stop her headache. And it worked. When she woke up she felt way better and more rested.

She got out of bed, put on some pajamas, ate a late lunch/early dinner and sat down on the couch to watch reruns of Sons Of Anarchy.

She was halfway through season two when Rowlan returned, looking exhausted. "How'd your project go?" She asked, glancing over the back of the couch. Rowlan tossed his coat on the coat rack.

"Good." He yawned. "We finally got it finished. All that's left to do is edit it."

"Do you think you'll pass?"

Rowlan sighed dramatically. "I hope so. After all the time and effort that went into it, we better pass with like, a 99." He said, coming to sit with her. "If we don't I'll be pissed."

"If you get at least a 70, I'll take you out to dinner." Dre laughed. She leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Watching reruns of SOA?" He asked. She nodded.

"I'm on season two. Care to join me for the remaining five and a half?" She asked. He smiled.

"Count me in."
