Seven | Can I Have This Dance?
DRE TOOK A LONG SIP OF HER DRINK, AND CROSSED HER LEGS, STRETCHING THEM IN THE PROCESS. She sighed in relief, glad to be free of her killer heels. She looked over at Rowlan who was still talking to Baekhyun. She smiled. They were really hitting it off. Dre set her drink down and leaned back against the counter. She closed her eyes and exhaled. She wanted to go home. She didn't want to be here. She felt very exposed in this dress and she had received enough stares from older men than she would have liked. "What do we have here?"
Dre opened one eye. A man, roughly around her age, smiled suggestively at her. Dre scoffed. "Not interested."
"Come on baby, don't be like that." He said leaning against the counter. He was so close, Dre could tell exactly what deodorant the man had used. He rested a hand on her thigh.
"If you plan on keeping that hand, I suggest you move it." She hissed, her eyes narrowing at him.
"Taehyung!" Dre turned her head. Another man was coming their way, glaring in Taehyung's direction.
"Sehun." He said, his voice going incredibly low. He removed his hand from Dre's leg.
"Get lost. Namjoon is looking for you." Taehyung winked at Dre.
"We'll catch up later." He spun around and stormed off. Dre cast a glance in Sehun's direction. He stopped just in front of her, almost as close as Taehyung had gotten.
"Sorry about him." Sehun said. "He doesn't understand personal space."
"I could say the same about you." Dre replied, crossing her arms. Sehun chuckled. D.O was right. She was hard to get.
"I'm sorry." He said. He moved a little farther away from her. "Better?"
"Yes." Dre responded. She eyed him, furrowing her brows. His name was Sehun. Dre thought back to the night they went clubbing. Club Lotto had three boxers and if she remembered correctly, Baekhyun said one of them was named Sehun. "You're Sehun, right?" Sehun bit his bottom lip and nodded.
"You're correct."
"Hmm." She turned in her seat, facing him. She rested her chin in the palm of her hand. "You lost the fight." She smirked. Sehun frowned.
"Yeah, I know." He said, angrily. Dre laughed, and Sehun was attracted to the way her eyes shut and her nose scrunched up as she did so. Her laugh was amazing.
"You could have won, you know. If you weren't too busy trying to impress me."
Sehun froze. She knew. Damn, she's smart. Sehun thought to himself. "You noticed." He managed to get out. She nodded.
"I've had enough guys flirt with me to know when it's happening." She told him. "I haven't, however, had a guy try and win and underground boxing match as a way to impress me before. You'd be the first." Sehun smiled.
"I guess I like being different."
"Different? I've heard that one before too. You're not different Sehun. You're like every other man. You flirt with the first girl you see, tell her she's nothing like the other girls and then you sleep with her. Come next morning, you're gone and she's picking up the pieces of her shattered heart." Dre picked up her drink and took a long sip. "Typical playboy thing."
